In this video, Daiwa SS AIR TW: Initial Impressions and Suggested Uses (BFS Fishing), Hobie-Wan Kenobi discusses the new Daiwa SS AIR TW and gauges interest to see if you want to see the Daiwa SS AIR fishing for trout in streams or, on a lake for bass.
Link to SS AIR TW (Digitaka Discount Code K63):

Be sure to comment if you would like to see the SS AIR TW lake fishing or stream fishing. Also, the types of lures you would like to see tested in those videos.
From Daiwa Japan:
The compact body inherits the fearless appearance of black × red and is equipped with the brake system "SS MAGFORCE" born from a completely new idea and DAIWA technology, which has been well received in recent years. After 10 years of evolution, the revolutionary machine of the DAIWA Bait Finesse Reel was born here.
There are two main points of evolution. The newly developed brake system "SS MAGFORCE" provides unprecedented castability, and the standard installation of TWS and Hyperdrive DESIGN raises the level of basic performance.
The new braking system not only improves stability but also contributes to the downsizing of the body. The body design and brake settings were designed by Yukihiro Sawamura, K.T.F., the father of Bait Finesse. It achieves a high level of both pitching and casting, which is the most important in fishing grounds that practice bait finesse. Of particular note is the extremely stress-free and stable castability emitted from the compact form. It can be said that this is a new frontier reached by the synergistic effect of DAIWA, which has been refining its magnet brakes for many years, and Mr. Sawamura, who looks at the frontline sites every day.

I'd like to see compare this with the Shimano Aldebaran.Having owned the Aldebaran for several months, I plan to replace it with the SS Air due to a perceived design flaw. On occasion, I experience a startling sound like a breaking rod during casting and the button jams midway, hindering the reel in or line release. I noticed a KZbinr shared a similar experience.

Question if you don’t mind: You are the only person with both 23 Conquest and this new SS Air. I have and love my 23 Conquest ( decided partly from your videos) . Trying to decide whether to get another 23 Conquest or this. I still love my old Diawa PX Type R ( and ‘15 Alde) which complicates decision. Haha. Looking for a versatile reel, from 1g-8g. (On Different rods) for bass/‘gill/crappie. I’ve been more power BFS but going moving lighter. So…. WWHWKD? Really like your content BTW.

I am the only person I know of with both reels. What do you use your current Conquest BFS for? If slightly heavier than 1gr, could just get the SS AIR TW and decide what reel for what job after using both. 1-8gr on the same rod is quite a chore. I usually would run two different rods for that weight range

Hello, I am new to BFS. I fish for Bass and panfish. I have enjoyed watching your videos. I have a question, what knots do you use to attach your various lures? I have always used improved clinch and the double improved clinch knots for my full size bass fishing tackle. I am having difficulty with the fine diameter of the 6 pound test braided lines used in BFS systems. I have no problems with knots tying when using 6 pound test monofilament and fluorocarbon line. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks again for the excellent videos.
