Yes! I'm new to Yakuza, but the first time you get to play as Majima, I was just in awe of how much more feral he gets while fighting. Compared to Kiryus move (pinning someone to a wall and then punching them), Majimas is so much more brutal. One of my favorites as well.

I just got into yakuza recently. after finishing yakuza 0 I wanted to watch a video on the heat actions I missed and all this is doing is reminding me that I won't get to play as Majima for the rest of the series. Well there is a side campaign in kiwami 2 but other than that he's not playable. True…that’s cause he is far more nimble than Kiryu while kiryu is just raw power. Like all his fighting styles have good quicksteps.

@@nathanieljefferies5491 a valid point. I just favored Majima’s style a lot more. The Heat Actions felt more unhinged and wild to me. Kiryu, while not following any specific martial art to the letter, felt very controlled and sturdy while Majima’s felt flexible and creative. That’s just me though.

@@kexard Mad Dog style was the only fighting style I could ever use to reliably beat Mr. Shakedown due to how Majima’s attacks automatically evade his swings while Kiryu’s Sidesteps are never enough. Plus I like how absolutely fun Majima is having when wailing on enemies…that wicked smile he makes during heat actions just shows a man who loves his job. Kiryu’s always felt too subdued for me. The problem with Kiryu’s lack of diverse moveset shows with the shakedown fights. When facing an opponent who he cannot overpower with sheer force, he sucks.
