A translation attempt of the nasheed. For brothers and sisters who don't understand Amharic (Ethiopian Language) here is my rough translation background: I believe this nasheed was made at the time when a non- Muslim Ethiopian politician mentioned our Prophet (saw) in a wrong way. Translation: Even if it's seen as if I'm week not getting steadfast as a man I'll not be able to bear it when Rasul (saw) is ridiculed, I get sick right after. Even if I don't have voice, that could be heard everywhere, To be sacrificed for you is my honor, To die for your love. May my mother and father be sacrificed for you ya Rasul Allah, May my soul be sacrificed for you ya naibyllah (saw) ya habibullah (2×) The one who become a role model for me from my early age, by fixing my heart and cleansing my soul. So that my tomorrow could be bright and for me not to be left abandoned on street. because I kept his words, I didn't fall at it. More than my mother's hug, my father's touch, I get more comfort when you are mentioned. Your mercy and smile printed in my heart, I will live keeping your face in my imagination. In my growing heart, where the love of Sayidi is printed, I will not be able to stand when he is insulted. Even if I'm not strong enough to fight back, I'll not go back home when Rasul is mocked. May my mother and father be sacrificed for you ya Rasul Allah, May my soul be sacrificed for you ya nabiyllah ya habibullah (2×) oh ohh oho... my child, whom I raised feeding him seerah (studies on the life of the prophet) said he would be sacrificed when our beloved's name is tarnished. oh oho oho.. he has not even grown enough, his knees are still week, but he still vowed he would be sacrificed for you, when you got mentioned .... oho oho There are people in the world, speared in the land of habesha who love Nabi more than they love themselves. It must be that he didn't get the luck, not lucky enough to be given the noor (brightness), he must have gotten cup (that couldn't quench his thirst), his soul must be dark, lack of luck, how else could he hate you (Rasul saw) if a man is well and alive. I would rather have hundreds of life and die multiple of times, than being alive and see my sayid getting the insults. The love could vary but when habib(Rasul saw) is touched our language one. The one who taught me to be a full human, clothed me with honor, by sharpening my manners, Even if I have learnt mercy from you, I don't have enough patient when they wrongly mention you. ahhh May my mother and father be sacrificed for you ya Rasul Allah May my soul be sacrificed for you ya nabiyullah ya habibullah (2×) The one who made me open my eyes by unlocking my heart, so that my destiny could be good, and for me to be a man of my words, and so that my fruits could be picked, for me not to be a man of no purpose, How can I sit still when you are mentioned. Even if they stand in line trying to lower his status, Even if they keep flowing like a river to tarnish his name, Even if their evilness get the better of them just like before, the pole of the the flag that was carried by Aragaw hasn't fallen. (Aragaw is a habesha man here in Ethiopia who was hunged because he killed a government official who insulted our Prophet about a hundred years ago. Today masjid has been built the place where he was hunged) Keeping the oath of allegiance in my hand(Islam), I stand here in my early years to be sacrificed, We will not kneel drown in grief as if we are strangers, Here we come together, Choosing honorable death. When our beloved is wrongly mentioned, Who can sleep well closing his doors? We must keep our words, the oaths of our forefathers. We are people of Aragaw, Talha Jafar (another Ethiopian Muslim hero) oho oho oho...the one who is chosen by Jelil (Allah swt) mercy to mankind, When they insulted him, It ruined my heart, hurt and body oh how it would be better for me to be, sacrificed and die to have my arms be my pillow in my grave rather than be alive. May my mother and father be sacrificed for you ya Rasul Allah, May my soul be sacrificed for you ya nabiyllah ya habibullah (2×)

Why don't you praise Allah Alone? Do you you think we are doing the Prophet any good when we make distinctions between Allah's messengers? We are actually insulting the Prophet when we attribute him to praises and disregard his mission which was call God Alone. Allah Alone should be our number one priority. Worship God Alone Call God Alone Commemorate GodAlone And Mention God Alone. That is what honouring the prophet means. The message that EVERY messenger brought down is: worship God Alone and obey me. Do not choose one prophet above the rest. That is blatant shirk.

@@abdillahibasheabdi4904 That is so cool to hear Brother. Religion is a lifestyle and I have always respect any belief, I don't see why many people choose to discriminate, if there's anything that should persuade any one to join my belief it should be my character and my stand in my God, not seeing others as my enemy, here in Nigeria Religion is a very big problem we are facing in Nigeria, Muslims and Christians with shallow understanding about religion has concluded that it is a must for you to join me, and I pray this doesn't cause war in our nation 🙏. I am Somali and when I first heard the words: "فداك أبى وامى يارسول الله" In a flash my imagination flew back to the time of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and how the Companions (RA) used to respond to him when he commands them anything and their ever-ready response being: "May my Dad and Mum be sacrificed for you, O messenger of Allah" By Allah, I cried like a baby. Of course, I don't understand Amharic but the Arabic words are very powerful and the Nasheeda is superb and extraordinarily melodious from start to end.
