However when I was a kid Pete Rose was a really good dude that everyone loved and he did a lot for the community, more so than the stars of today in Cincinnati. That's not the issue, do you have evidence to prove that the contract between Dak and Panini required Dak to provide a hand written signature? If Panini told Dak an auto-pen signature was fine and then told their customers that it was a hand signed autograph, then Dak is in no way shape or form at fault. Doesn't Panini say they had a representative who witnessed the signing? If so either they witnessed the use of the auto-pen and were ok with it or lied about witnessing the signing. In either case Panini lied to their customers so I would be inclined to doubt anything else they say on the matter.

You can't fool people anymore with them if your a superstar because collectors like myself send them in to be grated which can add 1000% additional worth, so it's not a laughing matter. In this case Dak is 100% guilty. There's no telling how many more Dak autographs out there that were autopined or signed by a friend or assistant of Dak Prescott. He's not the first and definitely not the last athlete to do this.

Ik this is old but everyone's saying who gives a fuck about this and I would agree with you but I'm a football card collector and I can show you my perspective of this situation. Dak used autopen on his 2016 Panini prizm football product, a box of 16' prizm will run you $150-180. Your guaranteed 3 autos per box. Pulling a redemption of dak was like hitting the lottery. Depending on the parallel you got I could be worth upward of $300 to even $1000. Now imagine pulling one of these, redeeming it, and getting a fake auto worth absolutely nothing when you paid $180 for a box. Or even worse buying a redemption for $300-1000 and receiving a fake auto. I'd be livid. So there's my perspective. People spend a TON on dak prescott autos just look up sold ones on eBay you would be shocked.
