Andrew Kinne Dakar Rally and Baja 1000 are two different animals. The Dakar Rally has top level rally raid vehicles with the best suspension ever developed... Baja 1000 you can run whatever shitbox you want as far as I know. Not to say that the Baja 1000 doesn't always have its share of really bad ass trophy trucks with suspension as good or better than rally raid trucks though.

True playing this boring noob mode is defeating the game´s purpose. Playing on more realistic difficulty removes the off track magic marker and you have to use the bearings and information provided by your racebook in the down right corner which is a great challenge and makes a lot of fun.

@@macolincolncybersec it's a navigation game. The objective is not to go as fast as possible, but get there to the end. Some stages are very long, stage 4 is like 40 minutes in competitor mode. I like it.

What's the point of playing a game targeted to navigation and surviving dakar when the environment isnt even a challenge.... anyone can read a compass bearing. At this point in the game you can go as fast as you want too without any repercussions and to me that is highly unimpressive / unrealistic. Believe me if this doesn't get changed it will impact the support of this game.. All I am trying to do is give feedback to help. I want this game to succeed but hopefully they listen before its too late.

WOW the environment designer had the easiest job ever working on this friggin' title! No road layout, no street-furniture, no buildings, no crowds! NOTT'N! Hardest thing about this guys' job: Finding realistic ways to look busy when the boss walks past your desk!

I think with a FULL off-road experience like this you *really* need a lot more up-front audio feedback from the physics effecting the vehicles body-frame / suspension etc (even sand / grit grazing the chassis panels) as you hoon it across the cambered dunes / launch over sharp sand ridges and so on.......Just engine noises alone (with a couple of sparse 'bump' noises) just don't cut it any more, (outside of sheer arcade-y fun-fests like NFS / Burnout etc, where that's perfectly ok and full driver immersion is not the main focus of the game)

I think that this game could've benefitted from spacing out the map more. I know 40+ mins is already a long time but traveling 1 km in under 10 seconds @ ~90 kph just seems too fast. A save-state or rest-point feature and shorter races may have been good for times when you just can't finish a long race in one sitting.

I like this game, like that is very accurate as in fall from a dune and can cause a withdrawal. As for those complaining about it, let see the game you made. Every game I played has nothing compared to real vehicle physics.

Spin tires mudrunner, aseto corsa, project cars, forza, forza horizon (all of them). Dude there are so many better games as a whole than this. I don't mind a game lacking in some areas if its excelling in others but this game as it is now has far to many downsides.. I'll admit I am somewhat biased as I dont enjoy rally games much but anyone can clearly see this game is lacking. Id rather play the original DIRT games than this garbage
