hi, but how do photographers go exactly on the track of the race, when the road book was handed over to the participants 20 minutes before leaving to leave the path secret to everyone?

They get the road book around the same time as the first participants; situation dependant. It's way too short a time to pull any clues or stuff out of the road book to pass on - the road books are extremely complicated, especially if you're not starting from 'zero'.

me ! but the big agency's rule the game. IMpossible to go by yourself, Unless you are rich, in that case you race dont go have a miserable time to get great images.

It's not easy, but not impossible. Definitely takes some work, and it doesn't go quick.

@@joshsampiero nothing is impossible Im pretty aware of it but its easier to be a F1 photographer than a dakar photographer sadly. And Id be a dakar photographer than a F1 no doubt about, much more interesting. @deepspiritphoto add me ;)
