Rating - 9/10 - I got SO emotional watching this episode! I just have so many feelings guys!! Don't judge me. The whole Mary aspect of this season resonates with me. I hope she comes around with time & I hope the boys are supportive & remember that they will always have each other. This episode was MOTW but with a lot of heart! Really enjoyed it.

I hate how nobody ever talked about Sam's experiences and traumas when being kidnapped and tortured and abused. Maybe they did it offscreen but still... The pain, all the time he thought Dean was dead and he had nothing to live for, reliving his worst memories via a drug and then basically being r*ped (with another drug) and then the look on his face when she asked "was it good for you?"

So true. A lot of Sam's struggles and traumas were just swept under the rug in general after it was such a big thing during Gamble and Carver era.

@@JuLiane Yeah, it's especially visible when we watch the first two episodes of a new season (his kidnapping was kind of a plotpoint??) and we see all those torture scenes and then not even getting ONE scene where they talk about it? About ... what he's been through??

@@JuLiane Yeah and I read somewhere that Jared talked to the writers to include SOME sort of Sam's Lucifer trauma but they refused (or they included it and then cut it out I don't remember correctly) and when they wanted him to be all jokes with Lucifer Jared said no. And because we don't get it in the script he had to research ptsd and trauma and work it all in by himself, the shifting at loud noises, his face when he stands face to face with Lucifer.... I'm so glad Walker treats Jared right. He said in the latest article that he feels safer having some control over the script

FYI. Saying how an episode or season felt like, how you liked them or disliked them personally is a sort of spoiler. People that watched the episodes as they aired, first had to process and digest what they had watched to gather the information on how they liked it or not. Watching something for the first time already having expectations of how an episode or season is going to be because of people are commenting about it, is a totally different experience to watching for the first time without any sort of expectations. Please, refrain from making those sort of comments to keep things fair for Dakara.
