The reason Dean is so hard on himself is because of his father, he ingrained it into his mind that he needed to do 2 things, kill monsters and protect Sam. Remember when they were little and left in the motel room and a monster came in and attacked Sam, John yelled at Dean for looking away, and he was like 7. Dean blames himself for everything that goes wrong because that's what his father would do when something bad were to happen around Sam. (Obviously it was John's fault for leaving his family for days on end in the first place.) Of course he is wrong, it's not all his fault, all of us know that, Sam knows that, but he's going to keep blaming himself because its a way to push him to save more people. At the end of the day Dean wants to be a Hero, he wants to save people.

@Black Ninja no I wouldn't forgive myself either, I am just like them 😂 I've never been a demon but I've made some mistakes and I don't forgive myself for any of them no matter how small they are, I wish I had the excuse of being a demon but I don't 😂 we all need therapy but instead I watch this show 😂.

This was an okay episode, but I feel that it was here mainly because they couldn't go straight from the last episode (Dean recovering from being a demon) into the 200th episode. We and the boys needed to take a beat between them.

I find this episode so interesting, it raises a lot of questions about morality and Sam and Dean's bond. I like how uncomfortable it leaves you idk :o Also I like Kate, this show is all about that free will and I like how she chooses how to go about her life.

Yup Dakara even though Dean's not a demon anymore he still has The Mark (£) aka it's need to be feed to kill and the bearer attitude that's why Sam is watching him and his right hand and trying to make sure he doesn't hulk out, Great reaction as always👍

The lore goes once a werewolf eats a heart there is no turning back. Dean has been in way deeper but he was never a werewolf. Everything he's has been, there has been a cure for. I get what you're saying, Dean has done some really messed up shit but it's really an apples and oranges comparison. As rotten an apple Dean may have been, he was never an orange.

Getting the drop on Sam yeah but Dean never. Sam dropping a loaded gun the way he did was stupid. It could of gone off and shot him. Dean being a demon was due to Sinclair who forced the blade on him, Sam was why he got the mark. Metatron murdered him resulting in the demon. Kate resists her sister could do the same she doesn't want to.

nice week starting Dakara treat for us, and a great reaction to another ep that I didn't recall too well.... but like you mentioned I like how the writers like to give us the parallel plots that try to shed light into what the boys might be thinking at the time... I'd forgotten that they brought this character from the failed backdoor pilot back, and after your reaction, I'm a bit puzzled that they sent her back out in the world on the run and not even offer to hook her up with Garth and his community of "vegan" werewolves so she wouldn't have to face her torment alone.... still a good reaction that merits you 2 CTU's from me.... I see the mentions of the next ep being the 200th, and if it's the one I'm thinking of..... I can't wait! great stuff as always, D and keep em coming!

I was also surprised that they didn't try to hook her up with Garth and his family, (or at least give her his number so she could try calling him) because it would be so much easier for her to stay on the straight-and-narrow if she had support. She wouldn't have to do it all alone. (I have a feeling it was more the writers forgetting that could even be an option than the boys. *LOL*)

I love this season,not only for Demon Dean or MOC but this!in this season,both Sam and Dean,go through the thing which make them close to each other in the first place(S1)and rather than being in a civil war or apocalypse crap,they do more about personal stuff and backstory,with not only themselves,but other people as well,humans,people which might understand them!as humans!not just for adding more dramas! not only Sam and Dean,Castiel and Crowley do the same😉!paying attention more to their own personal stories and backstories!and some new characters came out of those personal stories😉and witches!my favorite spices in this show❤️❤️❤️and Kate's character brought back the good memories of S8
