I go over the initial setup of the Dakota Digital PAC-2750 when used with a dual fan setup.

Hey what up how are you liking this controller so far do you recommend buying it? I have a Gmc Syclone that I want to convert to a dual fan set up.

I’ve had zero issues with it and I run it in two of my cars.

Hi, does one fan come on at high speed for low settings, and the other fan come on for high settings or do both fans come on for the low settings, the both come on for the high settings?? I really need to know!! Great video, Thankyou

So the options are fairly open. You can do all kinds of things with this controller and some relays. The controller just closes the ground circuit for the relays. I installed single speed fans. So, one is "low speed" and one is "high speed." You could install two two-speed fans and have both run on low speed and have the high seed kick on at a certain temperature. You can also use the a/c circuit to activate fan high speed.

@@BurnoutsAndRotorblades thankyou for replying me back. It's still not making sence. If I go with two relays for two fans or dauls. There are two grounds, one low and one high. Both grounds, low and high are grounds completing the circuit, so you will have one on for the low running high speed, and the other fan will come on for the high temp or a/c on high speed also. Not fans running at half speed. It's one or both full speed. That what I understanding.

@@BurnoutsAndRotorblades I called the company and I'm pretty sure I'm thinking this right. I also called BP Performance who sells the wire harness for the LS silverado and they said their harness will work with the Dakota digital pac-2750 or 2800bt. Just plug in the two ECM wires of their harness into the dakota controller , low and high and it will allow both fans to run on low for low temp, and high for high temp. Hope that works

I’m looking to install a Dakota Digital dash in my Vega, I’m banking on the the Nova cluster is identical to the Vega, I’m pretty sure it is but when restoring a older car nothing is certain

Will this work with PWM fans?

I'm not sure. You can call Dakota Digital. I had a great experience talking to their tech department. They were very helpful.

pulse width modulated?
@BurnoutsAndRotorblades3 жыл бұрын
Pulse width modulation (PWM), or pulse-duration modulation (PDM), is a method of reducing the average power delivered by an electrical signal, by effectively chopping it up into discrete parts. The average value of voltage (and current) fed to the load is controlled by turning the switch between supply and load on and off at a fast rate. The longer the switch is on compared to the off periods, the higher the total power supplied to the load. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulse-width_modulation

@@BurnoutsAndRotorblades Yes, but is this a PWM system?
@BurnoutsAndRotorblades3 жыл бұрын
@@332ARA Negative. I believe there is a PWM version, but this one is not. Here is the manual. www.dakotadigital.com/pdf/PAC-2750d.pdf

@@BurnoutsAndRotorblades interesting for sure! but, on the duration one. everytime it turns itself back on. is there a spike? im learning with everone else. "great share by the way!" larry

Why is mine blinking with ignition power off?

Sometimes the wires can touch between the terminals if you aren't super careful inserting them into their respective spots and have a wire bringing the gap.

Man thanks for reply..I’ll push the connections in more. I do have the 2800bt. Aftermarket Temp gauge not moving from cold I figure a short in wire or sensor maybe?
