I had a 64 2dr ht 260 t10 Falcon. A Sprint tach was installed in the heat gauge hole. Tach bezel was only 1/2 inch proud of the original gauge.

Great vidieo! Question this gauge set needs a separate gps speedo box? I thought it was a all inclusive kit.

It does have a mechanical setup but I’m running a 93+ S10 (was, I’ve since switched back) tail shaft on a mustang T5. This requires the GPS adapter as the mechanical setup won’t work.

Hey there, liked your vid here on the install, have you gone thru a long tunnel, or a mountain area when the GPS signal is lost? How does speedo behave during loss of signal ? I've always wondered what living with a GPS speedometer would like? 🙏...Thanks.

I have, it does lose a signal pretty quick but picks right back up after transitioning back outside. Thanks for watching!

After all this time was it worth it? I have a 64 HT with a 302 I put in and no speedo (since 1979 lol) but all the other gauges work- no dash lights again since 1979

Did you have mechanical fan fitment issues with that 302?

I did not try a mechanical setup on it as the accessories front drive is from a ‘97 explorer and those are setup with electric fans from the factory. I suggest doing the Contour Dual Fan swap on these if you’re running the 24” radiator like I am.

Well the dual fan set up clear the water pump pulleys and the radiator?

It functioned perfectly! Smooth action and dead on with Phone GPS Speed.
