Fibreglass - 10 Tens Ep 4

I'm back, didn't die, cbf making a video saying I'm back so here's this video slapped onto my channel all of a sudden. Should be another part shortly, been busy with work and life stuff. I'm still working on a bunch of interesting audio related things so stay tuned!

I find cutting the fiberglass cloth or matt into small pieces works best for me because there's no waste, no wrinkles to body work out or air bubbles to fix.

Adding little dowels along the sides and adding the fiberglass over them in a shallow wave will add significant strength and minimal weight if you are still thinking about how to make the sides more rigid. Just a thought. Looking awesome.

You got to lay a few layers of fiberglass over the whole face, it helps a lot

Wrap around the whole enclosure, and coat the inside with resin and hit all the inbetween woofers with more fiberglass

It’s temperature sensitive, hit it with more harder , let it sit for 48 hours

I do it in 4 inch strips of fiberglass then trim

Take your time it will pay off
