How does a video of this quality only have 9,000 views? So much value to be added to those who open their minds.

Mohnish you are an altruist . Great respect for the work you are doing in Dakshana Foundation. Giving education to the Kids who are underprivileged and thereby helping the whole family with a chance to uplift one from poverty. This is what giving back to society ideally looks like !!

Fairly accurate assessment Mohnish. Although the U.S also violated the Adam Smith model several times such as bailouts GFC in 08/09, indefinite QE and keeping interest rates very low which didn't let the normal forces or invisible hand. India is on one end of the extreme and the U.S is on the other end of the extreme (to preserve capitalism at any cost). Both of them are missing balance. If the U.S didn't change its course now, then pretty soon your students will be asking how come U.S become so poor and so fast.

If India adapts this style of farming/business mindset there is nothing going to stop it. I have spent so much time thinking about Adam Smith (Invisible hand) & Ricardo (Comparative advantage) that I don't find any other solution to solve deep root cause of Indian poverty. Farming is commodity based business from 10+ generations ago, there is no skill value in it. Farming + Goverment job has killed exposure of indian minds to entreprenuership because of comfort of both types. Risk takers are essential in any society, like Nassim taleb will say. Sure, Infrastructure spending from govt. will help, Digitalization will help, But you need free markets and free policies, encouragement for risks in society to thrive with safe environment (Crime) for either FDI or domestic invesments.
