@@londicawthon6956 I’m not sure actually. I have the ones I use linked in my amazon store so you could check that and see if it says.

Great ideas, I'm so gonna try this! Did I hear you say you used plastic bags, what type of bags as I'd like to try? TFS 👌
@Daksina4 жыл бұрын
Suz Yes! I just use the clear cellophane bags that sticker orders come in. If you have ordered acetate, you should be able to use the plastic bag it comes in. Just cut it down to whatever size you need first😊

When I do this method the foil sticks to the glue, but also transfers to the rest of the acetate if that makes sense. Like it has remnants of foil all over the page. Do u know why that would be?
@Daksina3 жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean. Which foil are you using? And which brand of acetate?
@krystlecarrender61443 жыл бұрын
@@Daksina WeLiu is the brand of acetate, I’m using the deco foil glue and transfer paper. I THINK the issue is that when I use the other foil (off brand from Michaels Craft Store) it isn’t supposed to be heated. But I’m not 100% sure. I did however try the deco foil and it worked perfectly!
@Daksina3 жыл бұрын
@@krystlecarrender6144 I’d say it’s definitely the foil. I’ve used the Go Press brand and had the same issue - sticking to the whole page. Deco foil has been pretty fool-proof for me!

My acetate curled so badly after running it through my laminator. I did place it in between a piece cardstock paper before running it through. Am I supposed to use a specific type of laminator?
@Daksina4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to hear that...my laminator is a really cheap one so I don't think it could be that. You could try placing the acetate and cardstock under something heavy immediately after it comes out to help straighten it as it cools maybe?
@jessa.e.72864 жыл бұрын
@@Daksina I think it's because i didn't use a heat resistant acetate. I clicked on your Amazon link and noticed that the acetate you used says heat resistant. Thanks for your help!
@Daksina4 жыл бұрын
Jess A.E. Oh wow, I didn’t realise you could get acetate that wasn’t heat resistance. Thanks for sharing that, I’ll mention that in my next video for sure! Good luck with the new type🤞🏽
