Dal Curry ( Lamb or Mutton )

Pearl's Anglo Indian Dal Curry, It's packed with flavours of sharpness and spices. Made the Anglo Indian way.
Ingredients
1kg Lamb or Mutton
1 Ladle Spoon Oil
2 Chopped Onion
1 Mug Red Lentils ( Dal )
2 Tbsp Tamarind
3-4 Stalks Curry Leaves
Dry Whole Garam Masala
1 Tsp Cloves
1 Tsp Peppercorns
3-4 Cinnamon Stick
Masala Paste
Full Pod of Garlic
2" Ginger
1 Small Onion
1 Tbsp Rye ( Black Mustard Seed )
1 Tbsp Cumin Seed ( Jeera )
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1-2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder

Thank you Pearl .I live in Vancouver Canada now. I grew up in Sri Lanka .We had lots of Anglo indians with us.They brought SO much richness to our culture.Sadly the politicians brought in Sinhala only and they all left.They went to Australia. Hi Doug , yes it can me made in the pressure cooker, in-fact in india I do it in there, but in the UK the meat is very tender so I make it in the Dakchi 🤗❤️🙏🏽😁
