- 1 cup whole black urad dal (black gram)
- ¼ cup rajma (kidney beans)
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
For the Gravy:
- 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter) or oil
- 2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili,1 Inch ginger, 5 garlic cloves (paste)
- 4 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to Taste
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
For Finishing:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- ½ cup fresh cream
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
