A brief summary of Dalran's history, lore, and what the city (and kingdom) is really all about up from Warcraft II to the War Within.
Dalaran is like Laputa for edgelords. But its also about never giving up, no matter how bad things are (spoiler alert for WW, its bad). Its about having a homeland where people from all over the place can work together for a single unified cause.
Dalaran has gotten the short end of the stick on plenty of occasions, but its never stopped the Dalaranian people from getting back up on their feet and trying again.

This guy....."Ya Boi Tyler".....makes some of the most stunning, informative, beautiful and epic AI videos of World of Warcraft I've ever seen. But THIS one.....this is absolutely AMAZING. A breathtaking story of the origins of the city of Dalaran, long before it ever rose into the skies to become of of our favorite cities in the entire game. It's ENTIRE life....from it's birth before the beginning of the Third War....to what we know of it today. It gave me goosebumps throughout the entire thing. I really hope everyone takes the time to watch this.

A lot of fans were upset that the movie showed Dalaran floating during the first war. I was ok with that. Changing details like that is not uncommon when adapting an IP (see any movie adaptation of novels, comics, video games, cartoons, and so on). My problem with how the movie presented Dalaran was that they didn't give a sense of it being kind of a college city for mages. No establishing shots showing apprentices in the streets practizing spells, or reading tomes, something. Khadgar just lands, and the next shot is him arguing with a beardless Antonidas. Same complaint could be said about Ironforge and even Stormwind. The movie was edited in such a way it didn't allow for the uninitiated to get a sense of what's special about each of these cities.

This time however, it got nuked from orbit. What even is there left to salvage? In a way, I hope we do get a Dalaran 3.0, but I'm not sure if I should hold my breath or not...

As someone who experimented a lot with AI generated imagery, I can really appreciate how much work you put into this to make it really resemble Dalaran and the characters. Don’t wanna give hope to anyone but most likely Dalaran was TP somewhere else, it didn’t look like the magic was suck of it and destroying it would be a waste, the ruins we got in Dorn are just a tiny part of it so most of it must be somewhere else getting his magic drained.

Going to watch others :) Just to share a funny story, I belonged to a guild a while back during the Wrath of the Lich King, and one of our activities was to play "lawn darts" by jumping out of the sewer in Dalaran in Northrend and you would try to get your body land on the object laid down by the leader. It was hilarious.

Funny story…. Except I’ve been playing WoW for a little bit (2005) and I seem to recall a quest in the Hillsbrad Foothills within the Eastern Kingdoms. It even came with a cinematic that was kind of kewel. And if memory serves me, unless Blizzard has changed the map. I bet that next to a small lake within the Silverpine Forest there is still a crater called “Dalaran Crater.” So, I think your story though great is a bit flawed. I’m on Arathor (US) Mconniff.
