Because they are still, they have lots of simple as well as repeating patterns and the AI has millions of example photos of which to get fitting set pieces from. AI generated footage is most noticable where there are moving and ether complex patterns, in more than one dimension differing but overlaying surfaces/objects or not by enough source material backed models/physical interactions.

the opening sequences do something to me that cannot be adequately described. it's bringing to life landscape architecture paintings of 19th century artists, but from locations stored in my memory which are instantly recognisable. it's seeing art re-imagined and brought to life in exactly the way you experience the game when you play it for the first time. a long and drawn out puff of nostalgia from our pipes! it's been said before but i'll say it again, if they were ever able to develop such art into an MMORPG, would we ever but venture forth in azeroth?

Well done again. It brings back memories. The armor of the people and horses looks so good. The poor Defias, former stonemasons of Stormwind, were really badly alienated. Back in Vanilla. I remember one weekend when I was a teenager. I hunkered down and decided to make an Alliance alt on another server. I made a human paladin. And no lie, I almost got him to level 30 in three days. The point is, I had never made a human character at that point and realized how chill Elwynn, Westfall, and Redridge were. But the moment I stepped into Duskwood, man, did the game really change.
