Hopefully they revert the change of marksman hunters losing the fortitude of the bear. It was a great defensive and marksman having a 3% decreased damage buff doesn't make up for it at all

I wish there will be an option to change the visuals of beasts for Pack Leader. Like, bear is fine... but I'd rather something like a turtle instead of a boar. And wyvern seems a bit faction aligned for me :( Maybe I'll get over it, but still.

I was kind of against this "no pet" design because using a pet as an MM in delves makes it so much easier in many ways. But then I remember Brann gains the tank role and maybe that is acceptable. I hope this tank Brann doesn't hop around like healer Brann who is notorious for aggroing adds and just messing up like garbage. Delves and World content is the only time I use a pet.

Yeah I really enjoyed using my pet in Delves, and I prefer marks. For the first time since mythic gear has existed, I've been able to get some.

Survival should be able to dual wield their melees. Really dislike having to deal with random animals. My goblins just want machines. Only machines. No boars, bears, wyverns, or eagles. Until they make Tinkerer, don't force animals on everyone.

As a primarily solo marksmanship player, I'm not looking forward to losing my ferocity pet. It was useful for tanking and holding mobs in place while sentinel is up. Now with the change to some bird that does none of that, my solo play style is going to change dramatically as I take damage I didn't have to take before.

Same man, like I WANT TO like BM but MM is just More Fun to play and it's always been better with a pet. I've literally NEVER USED lone wolf even when my raid leader was yelling at me to do so.

I’m super stoked about these MM changes! Yes I like pets, I can go survival or BM if I wanna use my pets I’ve tamed. Changing specs is easy as a click of a button and HEY! I have pets! Idk why everyone is so upset about the eagle. People were up in arms about survival changing to a melee spec too, but currently, survival is my favorite spec in the whole game. So, everyone complaining that they are “ruining” MM, it’s probably going to end up being a favorite for many. BM and survival are much better in solo content anyways… I only play MM in groups so lone wolf is a given anyways.

EVERYTHING about the MM changes have been a W. The spec needed to evolve somehow and unfortunately that made some of the forgettable minority unhappy, but it had to happen eventually.

i don't know how they are pushing a passive on us. auto shot is still a skill that nobody uses a finger muscle on. they are just upgrading the damage of auto shot in a not-so-generic way. are you talking about some other pushing?

@@domoneeko6723there’s 2-3 talents now that involve auto shots along with the tier set bonus. Auto shots directly influence lock and load procs as well as deathblow. So yeah, they’re pushing auto shot mechanics onto MM.

I tested pack leader + survival hunter, gotta say it’s pretty fun, but it’s unfinished. Pack leader for instance gives you 25 seconds to summon a beast before and during combat, if I don’t summon any beasts within those timeframes, I have to wait another 25 seconds, even out of combat which is really annoying. As for sentinel, I am sad they removed the owl flying on top, now it’s just a star coming out of nowhere. The closest thing to having a pet in mm is prolly dark ranger hounds which don’t do much. I think hunter’s biggest change for BM and sv is the pet spec changing, they can use what ever pet they want

MM now is literally just waiting for rapid fire to come off CD. Unplayable otherwise. Arcane shot costs way too much focus and does too little damage to be worth pressing. So you’re literally casting steady shot (??) to get aimed shot back off CD. Even then there’s 0 way you’re casting it unless rapid fire is off CD and you get streamline. But let’s buff auto shot damage. Super engaging. Actual gutter tier rework lol.

The Pack redesign seems great for Beast Mastery and is thematically more interesting. However, it seems poor for Survival. Kill command for survival is a generator, and raptor strike is almost a filler atm, outside of the current pack leader extra damage proc. Sentinel changes seem good at least, but I don't like that it seems like that's the only valid option (by far)

They should make the beast summon for survival not random. Every 30 secs kill command should summon the bear, bomb should summon the wyvern and mongoose bite should summon the boar.

WTF are they doing to hunters!? These changes are terrible, eye of the beast and eagle eye have been with us since the beginning. This, on top of the pet changes in BM and MM, are killing the class fantasy for me. I'm not Rexxar, I don't want his pets with me when I'm playing BM. If I choose to play MM and have my pet out, I want it to be the pet that's been with me for 20 years, and not a random eagle that swoops in... just because?? Who even asked for these changes? Hunter has been fine for a while now, maybe not always the top damage class, but that's part of the ebb and flow of WoW class changes. It's terrible game design if the only thing they can come up for Hero talents is to steal another Hero's pets. The only good thing they've done is bring back talent trees for pets, the rest could be left on the cutting room floor, and I'd be happy.

@@Varindral96 no man, the core design is for all hunters to have pets. the pet should not be the main source of damage for a mm, i give you that. but the pet should exist and be relevant. if we go on your logic then we should remove bows from bm. why do we have them? the damage comes from pets...but no, bm has his main source of damage the pets but also strikes with bow, and mm should have the main source of dmg the bow but also have pets. simple as that

The MM changes are amazing you should try to play with the improved streamline talent for 30% reduced cast time and focus I wish the removed the auto shot talents cause they are pretty boring and too passive and also wish the would bake aspect of the hydra into trick shots instead of making them a choice node. all in all AMAZING changes

@@xkarasu9705it’s not just over a pet. The entire spec is way slower and more clunky than it was. You’re pretty much only able to play the game if you’re in true shot or have rapid fire up every 20 seconds.

I really hate the pack leader changes. I like the beast cleave extension talent, and the self heal/pet heal talent for soloing delves and such. the interactions with the pet abilities felt fitting too. now we summon 3 pets that arent even ours and they do pretty lame abilities. theres also that talent where the bear consumes serpent sting and so that will probably never get picked cuz then people have to take explosive venom, and the spec is already really tight on talent points. maybe those end up being better aoe wise than dire beasts getting beast cleave but we'll have to see. we will end up multi shotting more so maybe it evens out. but overall i dislike the changes and will probably drop my hunter as dark ranger is just such a goofy hero talent. like ah yes the class fantasy of taming beasts and dealing shadow damage, very huntery.
