I am sooooooooo sick of this media illiterate narrative. The Lich King WAS NOT a pawn of the Jailer. Now was it the Jailer's original plan to make it the case, yes, otherwise he would've pushed his plan way back in Warcraft three. Nerzhul and Arthas went rogue. They were both doing their own thing, and that's why the Jailer punished them as harshly as he did as soon as he got his hands on them. I get the fandumb hates the Jailer. Believe me, I'm not a fan either. He's a big ball of wasted potential. But goddamn, if you're gonna hate on something at least get your facts straight.
@KingPomegranite15 сағат бұрын
Sire denathrius was using more in control than the jailer anyways. He controlled the nathrezim. They played arthas, played Illidan, played sargeras, played the jailer, and continue to play everybody.

@Darkvega2k714 сағат бұрын
@KingPomegranite Indeed, furthermore, I've always been of the mind of the Jailer just being an opportunist. Throw a whole bunch of shit at the wall and acting on what stuck. Granted, that's more of a failing on the writing. From the way it was written, that's how it looks, but how it was acted out, made it seem like it was all "part of the plan." Which is where Blizzard fucked up with the Jailer, IMO. And believe me, I can go on about my issues with the Jailer. And do it without spewing the same memetic BS that's plagued this "community ".

The Jailer didn’t exist during the time of Warcraft 3… that’s why the “fandumb”. Hates his lore. The Jailer represents one of the sloppiest and largest retcons in Warcraft history. Shadowlands was a travesty.

You've called it a prison so many times but I still can't understand what sources you're citing it to be a "prison". The main theory going around is that Titans aren't born as such, neither are Void Lord or any godlike being of a given cosmical force, what they do is influence "eggs" that are laid all across the cosmos. Azeroth is one of those eggs, lacking an imprint, the Titans found it and built a facility to imprint their magic and chisel at the egg to make it a Titan. Have the titans succeeded? We don't know yet but we do know even with much less influence Argus was MADE into a Titan, and Azeroth has been under the Titans' influence for much longer so it is almost guaranteed Azeroth is a titan herself by this point. And yes of course very early into cosmological era, Azeroth refused this influence just like she refused the influence of all cosmological forces but by this point the Titans have already "won" Azeroth. Now you can claim the Titans' might not have respected Azeroth's freedom, that's fine, but look at the other cosmological forces and how weak they are or how they treat among themselves, the Titans also failed in that regard because their lack of discipline among themselves and preferitism over Sargeras allowed him to go insane as his mad behavior continued unchecked. The Titans themselves HELPED US to defeat Sargeras being fully aware that would cripple them, you know why, because we are Azeroth's denizens, the denizens of the Titan they created. And they are GONE. Azeroth will wake up and have to decide whether to lead Order on her own and hopefully with our help, or do some unique stuff which would be Order because Order is just that. Order is the cosmological force that supressed all other forces, kept them in check so none of them would go wild, and in doing so through the lack of absolute order (nothingness) and a checked chaos, life could thrive. They also mourned Argus not just because he was tortured and had to be killed to free him, but because his own denizens died with him. All of the Titans are friendly with one another except Sargeras because he's deranged and evil. Eonar herself is very close to Life and the Life Cosmological Force, if Order itself was so bad she'd long ago quit the Pantheon of Titans. Despite their personal appreciations, they all thought it was the best for life, and for a better cosmos. As for the whole theme of World of Warcraft, I reckon we'll be leaving Azeroth from a story perspective into an story of how Order was rebuilt from the ground up and put all the cosmological forces in their place, especially those who which are dreadful like the Void or Chaos or Zovaal's perspective of Death. Order begins with the seamless flow of the cycle of life and death. Fuck yes, all the Order propaganda we can put out. Long live Aman'thul.

I believe the Last Titan will be a underground just like War Within is. The Isle of Dorn equivalent will be Crystalsong Forest which is the pretty zone that had nothing in it because when they decided to put Dalaran above it, they realized servers of the time couldn't handle a full working zone under the capital city of the expansion. So it makes sense to utilize it now. They could also do the full northrend revamp, but we want new locations. Not to revisit old zones with new content.

Ok hear me out, what if Sargeras is incomplete, his soul has been split by the Pantheon and his good/bright side which is more devoted to the light side has been imprisoned on Azeroth, therefore we only see the dark/demonic side of Sargeras which also affects his demonic appearance and behaviour to a more destructive fel based side, but in his subconscience he still searches for his other half, thats why he desperately tried to stab Azeroth at the end of Legion as he finally found it after a millenia and was so close to his goal of reuniting with his other part, only the intact prison stood in his way. Think of it like the split variants of Varian Wrynn, the imprisoned one weak but with all the memories but no power to free itself, the free one very strong,brutal and powerful but no memories just an urge to look for something, like an internal magnet, maybe at one point he found out what happened (dreadlords hint hint) and recruited the legion to have as many eyes and spies in the universe to help complete his search

@@RealJuiceWrldthe idea thats being pushed is Balance my friend. If one side controls too much, it becomes a detriment to everyone else. The Titans acts could be viewed as good or nad depending. What we were told is they are trying to save the world, but in turn are preventing the world from evolving naturally. They arw controlling how things play out. Keeping us in a stagnate state. We must take a step into the unknown, and break free from our chains in the realm.

I don’t think the SL lore was bad at all and I think it makes Wrath all make sense. It was clear from the moment arthas touched frostmorne that he was being controlled.
@RealJuiceWrld15 сағат бұрын
… that undersells Arthas’ character arc so much. You realize the story is satisfying because it’s a nuanced tale of Arthas wanting so badly to save his kingdom that he ultimately throws all his beliefs to the side in the name of “sacrificing” for his people, to the point he becomes the very thing he hates. If you want to say Arthas was controlled the whole time… sure go for it… but that removes the impact of Arthas taking the extreme measures that he did which ultimately led him to becoming who he was if it was all just orchestrated by someone else and not Arthas’ own free will.

SL lore was absolutely dreadful. The lore was in fact the one thing that was genuinely bad.
@cedricagbosonan504115 сағат бұрын
He wasn't controlled he resisted complete mind control just like did Bolvar after him. He slept for years before unleashing his plan to "save Azeroth" by turning evryone into an undead to resist the old gods. The Jailer wasn't too happy about that btw that's probably why he tortured his soul as soon as Uther dropped him in the maw. The biggest flaw is to present a character like this :" you see those 20 years of lore, yes? Well i'm the big orchestrator behind all that". And trying to explain how the after life works for all mortals of cosmos. Breaks mysticism : when you die you become a skeleton warrior, a noble vampire, a winged blue taxi of souls, or a furry. And btw do all cosmoly chart forces have a physical place ? Arcanelands ? Realm of life ? I thought those forces were magical representation of a concept like order for arcane, chaos for fel, or shadow for death etc..? If you liked it it's fine. I liked the star wars prequels while OG star wars fan didn't. It's a génération thing. But understand why long time Warcraft fans didn't liked shadowlands. Thank you for Reading, have a excellent day 🙏.
