What a sincere and generous interview with Dale. I like him interviewing separate from Buzzo, he’s more genuine and kinder. Thanks for asking better questions than the rest

I agree. Buzz has a sense of humor that has never struck me as funny. He comes across as one of those annoying kids from jr. High school that constantly put out insults to make fun of people.... Loud passive aggression.

Buzz seems more patient these days. Maybe it comes with age. He seems less visibly reluctant to be interviewed anymore.

great interview! really opened some doors for me on the drumming department.. great tó hear a sincere take on things, i think people are looking for some kind of resolve on the what happened to nirvana.. and this one was at least for me an opening.

Great interview but not so great on the Kurt tip. Would love to have heard about the In Utero tour, and especially that last show where he told Buzz he was divorcing and quitting Nirvana. - those are tough questions to ask though. If he goes too deep no one will want to talk to him anymore.

I could have sworn Dale mentions Kurt being a hermit who would stay up all night and sleep all day, and that one of his friends went months without seeing him. Is that in this interview or did I imagine that?

Dale Crover wrote the Drain You drums and Dave Grohl copied Crover's drums when he recorded Nevermind. When you listen to Drain You remind yourself Dave Grohl is just covering someone elses drums 🥁 Also when you listen to In Bloom, Breed, Lithium, Polly, and Stay Away remind yourself that Dave Grohl is just covering Chad Channing's drum compositions 😊 This should have millions of views Daniel. Crover literally says he wrote Drain You and Dave copied him. Cut out just that part and crop it and upload it. I'm tired of people not respecting Channing and Crover for the drums they wrote. People deserve to know Grohl copied their drums! Grohl got paid for their ideas!

This might be the first solo dale interview ever? He seems pretty kool without Buzz. Not that Buzz isn’t kool but Dale seems even kooler on his own.

I think the new version of rock, is trap metal. look at artists like ghostemane, it's like 50% metal %50 rap. but not in a cringey way like limp bizket lol

What's going on around Dale's head it looks like hes like edited weird into it or something. Or is it maybe a fan blowing his hair I thought that at 1st but I don't think so it looks really weird Let

Dale sounds like he doesn't get how influential his is tool probably listened to the Melvins before they ever were formed I use to love the Melvins way back in the day I new they were the original Seattle band but for me they sounded nothing like the others way more heavy I considered Melvins alternative metal in my mind that's the scene they belong to being labeled grung I think hurt there Career people thought they were getting a pearl jam type music then this heavy strange music blast out of there speakers I think that crowd got turned off by them if they went with alternative metal popular at that time it wasn't mainstream grunge rock but still was doing well band like helmet tool ministry white zombie prong clutch the Melvins really should have been marketed with those bands and not a mainstream grunge band in the end it fuvked them over

It's crazy how normal he looks because buzz is anything but normal this guy was apparently the best drummer in that whole scen he was the drummer everyone wanted but he was in the Melvins loyal guy he could have been in nirvana and be millionaire icon no matter what he says he must regret not joining if not just a little bit to this day nirvana makes a ton of money there is no place you can go without seeing there shirts
@doxskew22217 ай бұрын
Its probably best call he didnt join nirvana. His stuff he played with nirvana dont get me wrong was awesome. Aero zeppelin and mexican seafood being some of my favorites. But dave grohl is nirvana. He gave nirvana there true heart. He is the nirvana drummer.
