I guess this would be possible with a actual fly rod too, right? Just need enough backbone to cast a heavy bobber/fly rig.

I’m not sure about using a fly rod. Mainly because most fly rods do not have a rear grip that is handy when casting. I would try and find a FNF rod. Bass Pro has one in their micro lite series. Thanks for stopping by!!

It can be done, check out R.W. Fly videos on here. I haven’t quite dialed it in on the fly rod so I’m also trying it out on a spinning rod.

Are you using long steelhead rods??
@eFishin Жыл бұрын
No it’s a float n fly rod. It’s a Silstar LX802N. I’ve had it for a long time and not sure if they still make them. Bass pro, B&M and Yank-um custom has a float n fly rod. The steelhead rod would probably work too.

@@eFishin thank you. I used to fish Dale hollow occasionally when I lived in Franklin Tennessee but I fished center hill a lot more as I found it much easier to fish. Dale hollow was tough unless you fish it at night or in the winter time. Super clear water, clear as sturgeon bay!!!

@@eFishin are you using shad colored flys or crawfish colored? People up north use flys for walleye fishing alot

@@danward2490 I've had those days on Dale where I wondered if there were any fish in the lake for sure.
