I was a fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. When he died I became a Jr. fan. What frustrated me the most about Dale Jr. was his lack of aggression as a driver after his father died. He was often reluctant to take chances or make the necessary moves to win a race. It seemed like he was more content with his role as the most popular driver everyone loves and the fortunes associated with it. However, I honestly believe if Dale Sr. were alive today, Jr. would have many more wins and maybe a few Nascar Championships under his belt.

Simple fix is having NASCAR establish a rule that crews are not allowed to touch other teams during altercations. IF they want to try and stop it, they can only pull on their own guy. At some point, its no longer trying to resolve the issue but add to the chaos. The NFL did has this rule for piles. You're not allowed to pull the opponents off the pile.

What about a NASCAR legends charity race at North Wilkesboro Speedway? Gain back some of the funds invested in cleaning the place up. Kyle Petty, Sterling Marlin, Ricky Rudd, the Bodine Bro’s, Ward Burton, Ernie Ervin, Ron Horniday, Mike Skinner, etc... running a charity race at North Wilkesboro. Driver picks his charity of choice and let them have at it. They could do it during one of the off weeks for the regular season OR have it between the regular season and the playoffs. Maybe even have the regular season champion gets to join the race. Have the media hype it up during the season. How many of us would LOVE to see one of our old heroes run again at a race track that is rooted deeper in the history than any on the circuit today? (nascar would probably see it as competition for throwback weekend, but maybe they would understand that all the fans they alienated just might come back around.)

I don't have all the facts or how the Gilliland / Busch contract works. But we are in an era that team owners, essentially, have rides available for rent. You (as a driver) bring a sponsor big enough to pay for it, you are "in". If Kyle talks smack throughout the season about you, that's a huge no no, unless Kyle's Management team got the sponsorship deal. But I have a hunch, Gilliland landed the Mobil One sponsorship, in which case, Busch should have kept his mouth shut throughout the season. Gilliland shouldn't have said anything, but it certainly makes sense why he did blurt it out on the radio "true" feelings. Gilliland has now jeopardized his sponsor and his access to top notch equipment for next year. Kyle also loses a potential top paying sponsor. I had to laugh when Kyle was asked if Gilliland was fired for the remaining races. He can't fire him, given how most rental ride sponsorship deals are written.

Didn't expect Dale and Mike to be so thin-skinned about KB getting called out for being a baby. KB deserves it, and hopefully, Gillaland survives the wrath. KB took a swing, and Gillaland swung back. Good for him. Nobody swings at KB.

The best way to describe Denny: fake.

When you're a happy person it shows, Denny Hamlin is arrogant for sure.

He has already said multiple times that he won't race at a plate track again. Too much risk that he may hurt himself again.

Behind the gym after school? I think the teams should let em fight for 15 -20 seconds. Why I attended the Roughned Odor clinic on First Punch wins.. You might not get a second blow with the teams around.

Gotta disagree some on Todd vs Kyle deal. Sure he's his boss and you probably don't want to bite the hand that feeds you. But how would you feel if your boss ridiculed you publicly on more than one occasion? As Mike said Kyle didn't handle it right either. He could/should and probably did handle it behind closed doors but then he put it out in the media. I don't know about y'all but if I had a boss to criticize me like that in public I'd be harboring some pretty hard/hurt feelings too. Respect gains respect doesn't it.

I doubt that Kyle has the leadership talent that Joe Gibbs has(at least not yet....).....so I'm sure something was said to make his driver mad enough to tell him to stay in the motorhome. Bosses must earn the respect of employees as well as vice versa. Most likely, some work needs to be done on both sides.
