I don't know if Dale reads these comments, but I just want to say I really miss seeing you race man. I was a Dale Earnhardt fan growing up (I am the same age as you). It was Earnhardt or nobody for me. If he crashed and had no chance to win, I turned the damn channel. lol. I remember when you started running for him in Busch. I was a fan of anyone driving the 3. It was like an extension of Dale even if he wasn't in the car. I became a fan of Dale Earnhardt Jr. the man rather than Dale Jr. the driver of the 3 as I watched your career develop. I knew you were a bad ass driver for sure when you won at the Glen. You literally beat one of the best to wheel a car at that place and I was then a fan for life. You continued to grow as a driver, but even more so as a person and it is who you are as a man that is what truly makes you special to your fans. I hope you will do a few more races a year in the future, as long as your family is cool with it and you are enjoying it. Also, in the future, could you talk about that win over Ron Fellows at Watkins Glen and what that meant at the time? Really enjoy the podcast, keep up the great content!

Jr. Thanks for the great race. First race all year that I watched the whole race start to finish and that's cause you were behind the wheel. The look on your face was priceless , you were just pure happy. If you need seat time before your next year's race, giving ride alongs to your fans that's priceless but I think you should have a contest n you need to pick a male n female winner to give ride alongs to. As your fan since you took your two championships , The happy, joy look you had, your humble attitude is why we love you n support you. That was a good crowd of fans... But go back to the early 2000's when Jr. was winning Talladega all the time, the whole stadium going nuts with all the fans dressed in red.... Or when he won the pepsi 400 in 2001 the 2nd running of the Daytona that yr after Sr. had passed away & hugging Waltrip on top of the car... I don't think fans have ever been as happy or cheered for any racer more than they did Jr. during those times.

OK, I was a bricklayer and really enjoyed my trade. I was working with my son which was another big plus! During the winter of 2001-2002 we had to take a week off due to weather. Back to work I noticed my back was bothering me and after a couple of days I couldn't get out of a reclining chair. 5 months later I had surgery and 5 more months was OKed to go back to work. From that time on I could only work 2 hours a day! Now I have a lot of time on my hands because not many people would hire me for two hours a day. But, I have some very interesting hobbies and enjoy life with family and our church family. There is more to life than bricklaying! I wish you well for your future with your wife and 6 children (well, you never know). The order of God, family, friends and country works for me and I hope for you as well as all in our great country! Greg

I'm not sure Dale realizes how much influence he has on our sport we love so much. To come back and race at grass roots Darlington spoke volumes. I mean at one time I think Darlington was in trouble of being lost all together. I think they need to go back to twice a year. I would love to hear more about the technical aspects of driving, drafting, and the sweet science of racing. I’m surprised at how little there is on the cars and what makes some cats faster than others. Usually we just hear “I had a fast car” or “my car was set up was perfect”... I want to know why? "The general public doesn't know". The best thing said in this video. It's ludicrous to think you are going to get in a car beside Dale Jr and go 200 mph around the track. It really doesn't work that way. There have been people who were sort of disappointed when they didn't get the 200mph ride. The idea is to experience the sound and feel of the car. Not necessarily the speed. If you want speed, fly to some place and experience 600mph.
