I met him in Oklahoma back in the 1980's, he had horses on his farm and he was a very very nice gentleman, I talked to him about acting & he told me it's not hard to be an actor but it's hard to get a part in movies, makes sense to me he played Jim Hardy on tales of wells Fargo & had another show in the 1950's Iron Horse he was a nice man to talk to & we talked about his acting, I asked him for his autograph & I still have it to this day MAY YOU RIP MR ROBERTSON YOU WERE A TRUE GENTLEMAN.

I recall watching him in the television series. I thought he was very handsome and the scripts were very engaging. I am sorry to hear about his difficulties with alcohol and other personal woes. I pray he is at peace now . I hope he was aware how much entertainment and joy, his acting gave many of us.

You repeat the same things about 4 or five times, and still did not say anything about struggles with drugs and alcohol. What's up with that

I watched mostly to listen about his struggle with drugs and alcohol and not one mention about it

@@seahunt6055 he kicked his alcohol in the seventies. He was a very gracious person, and he had faults like all human beings. Another thing is he accomplished all of his dreams in one way or another, and he excelled at them all, he was a very accomplished man. R. I. P... D. R.

Strange, I left a message about this before but it has disappeared. The Dale Robertson Camp was for boys only. Dale didn't star in Coroner Creek but in Fighting Man of the Plains. Tales of Wells Fargo ran for 6 seasons. He did not appear in the Last Hard Man. He did not produce Flaming Star although he knew Tom Parker and Elvis. He did not produce The Gambler wore a gun or The Day of the Wolves. Dale died on 26 Feb 2013 and not the 27. I think you have got muddled up as Dale appeared in Gambler from Natchez. He did have his own company where he made Man from Button Willow and lost most of his money because the film was not a success due to lack of interest by the film companies. If you look up Dale's obituary, it will give the correct date of Dale's death, although this may have been removed from the internet since I last viewed it 10 years ago.

@@josephpetrizzojr5340 He was a good boxer in college, and couldn't go back due to his injury in the war so he took on Hollywood. Just thought I'd throw that in there.🗣️

That is done to trick people into getting likes or credits on their post. It should be taken down, when lies are used.😮😮
