I use to love giving horses there first ride in a round yard but with no saddle and holding both arms out to the side like airplane wings and also I would ride horses bare back while holding both arms out to the side like airplane wings and jump em. All the things I mentioned is what I did to teach my self EXCELLENT balance and to be able to sit on a horse going nuts and not be thrown off very easy. I did these two things for so long so many times and ended up as if I was super glued to them. Only reason I chose to do this is coz at the time I was an apprentice jockey and wanted to have the best bloody balance I could have and ended up known for how good I can sit on a horses back when it plays up and not come off no matter how hard they buck and carry on

Horses! Fun! When we were kids, riding bareback, we found an old bearskin rug. Oh boy! We would take turns hiding in the woods and then running out with the skin over our heads making growling noises while the others took turns galloping past. Our horses were so used to our mischief not much surprise went on. But, we sure had a good time. It is sad seeing the kids nowdays. Phones - horses are best. Good memories. (sigh) K
