I was fostered at 2yrs old. Adopted at 13yrs old. My first parade was about the age of 7. That’s when I first heard the bag pipes past by me. It stirred something in me, and the love of hearing them. I lost my father on 2011 3 days after father's day. He was 82 years young and he absolutely loved this type of music. He loved all types of music but this was his favourite because he was a true Scots man. Then after this he loved hearing the call to prayer for Muslims the guy that sings from the big tower thing. He travelled the world with the merchant navy and he said he always loved 2 things getting woke up in the morning hearing the call to prayer and coming home for a true scotch whisky and live Scots music 🎶 hearing the bagpipes and drums 🥁

Really?? You obviously aren’t from Scotland, this is NOT authentic! I grew up (as an Irishman) in the pipeband culture and competed as a drummer in many Scottish pipeband championships. We have a real drumming culture which IS handed down through multiple generations unlike these clowns with their fake Scottish drums who would be laughed out of a Scottish Grade 4 band competition. What an absolute joke!

The beat of the drums in combination with bagpipes is special for me as a Bulgarian. Similar to Scotland, our country has been occupied and terrorized for centuries, which has left a footprint on our culture and folklore. Listening to this rhythms is like a history lesson, if I close my eyes I can see their ancestors preparing for battle, getting ready to protect and preserve their families, believes and dignity. There's so much emotion here. Stay strong Scotland, keep your traditions alive, those traditions are the spirit and the soul of your people.

These guys are needed at the entrance of the cancer center I use to work at. As the patients get out the car they get war paint painted on their cheeks and then walk in to this battle music. Ready for fighting. That would be awesome!!!!!

Micky Mouse fake Scottish tourist music, these military style bag pipes didn't appear until the 18th century, before that the traditional pipes were Uilleann pipes, a completely different sound and style of music and drums never existed in Scotland until the British Army introduced them. As for their costumes, pure braveheart fiction.
