What a wonderful staycation. Thank you Plaza for inviting Dale and Paula to your property. Thank you for showcasing the Plaza. It looks like a wonderful property. Oscars has always been on my list to eat at. Friends and family have said it’s a favourite and after watching your video on your dinner wow! I can’t wait to try it myself one day. The property is beautiful. I did visit the plaza on my trip years ago and said if I stay downtown this is a wonderful hotel to stay at. I have family friends that stay downtown when they go. They have said the Plaza has always been the place to stay. The location, the friendly staff, the easy check in, the food options and they said they love the gaming floor. What I like about downtown is the ability to see many casinos, enjoy free music, lots of food choices for anyone’s budget. Thank you for another amazing video series Dale and Paula. I want you to both know I recognize how much work it is to film a video. You always hit all the notes at a location. Then I know Paula writes the script and Dale you do an excellent job with voice overs sharing all the information and adding personal thoughts. I can’t imagine how many hours of filming you do and then and condensing it down into a beautiful video. You have excellent skills that have gotten better from the start. Though I do like watching those first videos as much as the videos you both produce now. I feel that I’m right there and you always make the property the third person in that story. Bravo! Thank you for producing classy videos that all ages can enjoy. For newbies you provide a ton of information. For those that travel to Vegas regularly you always feature wonderful places that help others find fun experiences to try on and off the typical tourist list you find when you search Vegas. I think for people who have never stayed downtown or gone downtown this video helps them see a possibility of trying downtown as an option to stay for their full holiday or for a portion of their holiday. As a person who has only been one time but loved Vegas for the entertainment factor. I look forward to a time I can come back. Where else in the world can you go and see a show a night with that much variety? Some I payed for but also enjoyed a duelling piano bar, the free music that was featured in the hotel we stayed at. Then the options of seeing a comedy show, a cirque show, a tribute show, then watching a Broadway performance and a large headline performer. That is incredible. Some people go strictly for entertainment, others for gambling, others are foodies and base their trip around amazing restaurants and some people love to sit by a pool and enjoy the variety of pools found in Vegas. That’s what makes Vegas incredible! There is something for everyone. Thank you again for letting me dream about my trip back to Vegas once I’m feeling stronger and I’m told I can safely travel from my oncology team. Until then I love watching your videos and love sharing them with others.Thank you so much for all the hard work you both do to make these incredible videos.

Is it just me or does it feel like downtown is getting better and better..ok the strip has its fabulous hotels but we all know they rip everyone off compared to downtown its like the strip will take ur last penny but downtown will have value for that penny i dunno the more an more i see vegas downtown makes me feel more worthwhile. You guys are doing such a great job i know iv said it before but i cant help myself giving praise where its due. Stay safe U2

You definitely get more for your dollar downtown - room prices, drinks, food, everything. And yes, that weekend we were there, it was a great place to be, it absolutely sparkled. But downtowns are not for everyone, particularly Downtown Las Vegas - luckily there are downtown people and Strip people, and we happen to have both! :)

When I lived in Vegas (now 4+ years ago) the downtown area was still coming back. I worked on a project for the Clark County Assessor at the new county building. The Smith Center went up and I starting taking in shows. We'd meet for lunch at the downtown casinos. I had friends that I'd meet with at the community centers talking about crowd funding and opening up new businesses. The Art District was still small but with hopes to grow. I saw the downtown area as a place for locals and more community based businesses. The other part of the strip evolved to cater to tourism. Well not a bad balance really.

I have watched many bloggers stay at the Plaza. We also watch Brian Christopher which also highly reccomends this location. All we hear is how great this Casino is and guests feel the employees make you stay enjoyable. If we do visit Vegas again, we definitely will stay at the Plaza. Thank you for a great view of the property and how customer friendly they are.

We stayed at The Plaza earlier this June and past Dec (2020) Both times the stay was good. We stayed on the 16th floor of the North tower in an updated room it was very nice and the service was good. Plan to come back in a few months & will stay at The Plaza but this time in a room facing west in the North Tower.

Dale's classic Vegas story. Head out and find you don't have a job. Many people have made it to that town on fumes and figured it out when they got there. Sentimental journey back to where it all started. Doesn't it feel good that you still have a place up that you can connect to back all those years ago. Looks like they made a nice transition as they blend right into the new Fremont Street Experience and downtown revitalization over the years. I would stay there.

Never stayed downtown but might have to give it a try on a future trip. Usually stay on the strip because we don't get to go as often as we would like. Definitely plan to try Oscar's. Excellent video, and as always, Greetings from Texas!

We totally get what you mean about your choice of hotel - when you only have so many vacation opportunities, you need to stay where you really want to be. Lucky for us, we live here, and we can choose to stay in any corner of town! :)

I've always stayed at the Nugget when I come to Vegas. I'm booking at the Plaza next time. A Meet and Greet! Count me in and I'll even provide a wee bit of music. Then I'll take them out on Fremont Street Pied Piper style. That should be a hoot!
