This trail doesn't exist anymore, so I'll have to find a new hardest trail to conquer. Wild Cherry perhaps? 👀

I love the wrap up comment. I'm older now. Been riding MTBs for 32 years. There's features I've shied away from that i felt embarrassed because my mind couldn't get past the fear of pain. There are other obstacles I've hit that i was sure i couldn't ride but did and was astounded how easy they were... This tells me I'm capable of so much more than I believe I am and not to put to much pressure on my self. I love the friends I've made over the years who push me in healthy and sustainable ways too, just like yours. Cheers.

@rarelycomments

It's definitely a mental game. The best technique for riding super steep stuff is to "flow" through it a bit faster, don't try to stop (you can't lol) If your wheels are rolling, you have grip. And you can use your front brake a lot harder than you think, due to the weight on it.

No shame in your game. Live to ride another day. 5 weeks out from breaking two ribs on an OTB and while riding today (first one!) I had to do a ride-around and a couple skip its. Frustrating for sure, but knowing when it’s time to do it next time is how you level up intelligently. Well, look at the big brain on Brad!

@@DaleStone I am an old 1.74 mts BMXer with 1 year in 2021 M 29er and never had the opportunity to test a 27.5. I understand that 29ers today are better designed, and even though I don't touch the wheel often, I am courious to know if a 27.5 will suite me better and allow me to control the bike better considerin I am an intermediate rider? I can also see most brands are still offering 27.5 in 2022, so 27.5 are not gone?
