It would even be better if its in night time mode, those explosions and laser tracer's bright up the battlefield. Really highlights the battle itself.

Here are the STANDINGS for the Daley Star Wars battles (For Men At War Clones Vs Droids)!🎉🎉 Yesterday; standings DROIDS-13 CLONES-12 TODAYS standings; DROIDS-14 CLONES-12 For the sake of understanding I started this at the beginning of Feb. 1 24 not counting Jan. 2024 instead giving both sides a split of 4 each for the sake of fairness

The galactic civil war had fewer battles because the rebel alliance were doing hit and run attacks. They didn't have the numbers or fire power to stand and fight the Empire openly most of the time. In the original trilogy you only really see them sticking around and fighting when they're either backed into a corner or they've got a surprise attack going on like in rogue one before Vader and reinforcements arrived

It was kinda nice seeing the generic clones being used, as much as I love all the different colors of the specialized forces the shiny ones need some love too.

Liked the video Lore, I feel like the jedi in charge is Pong Krell with a just charge even in a disadvantage position like this one with only tanks as back up that can't even reach the bottom of the hill.

Defender's advantage. Would it be safer for a trooper carrier to deploy the troopers if it were positioned behind an ATTE?

@@AT-rr2xw yeah true there's a reason the AOTs would probably deploy the troops as soon as the battle got started mainly so a single shot couldn't blast them apart. What's neat is the CIS had their own hover version of an AOT that would hold racks of folded up B1 droids. You can see them during the invasion of Naboo. Those would also be used in areas where the CIS could properly screen for enemies who could blow up all the droids before they deploy

Man it would have been cool to see more realistic tactics and battle in clone wars instead of squads of troops from both sides running at each other and shooting in open terrain with a jedi at the front

If you wanted to do a proper D-Day, remove the tanks and just fill up the cliffs with anti personnel weapons and anti tank weapons and it would still make a really good battle.

I think if you were to make some of these missions and play a side it would be interesting, or perhaps a small squad or so of troopers while the rest are AI.

No offense to Daley but I feel like analyzing this battle if it had actually happened in universe. I feel all the emplacements and everything would have been the same but the CIS would have also been deploying lots of B2 droids to fire down on the clones possibly the B2-HA which is the one with the rocket launcher arm to help take out enemy armor. They probably could have set up mines on the beach if that was viable as well. Also I feel the big thing would be that there would be way more B1s but they wouldn't all just be sitting in bunkers and firing some would be set up to replace droids manning the turrets or mortars so if the clones take out one droid they fill the gap with another and keep firing. If the CIS were lucky enough to have droidekas during this battle they could have set up a few at the top of the hill as anti-infantry turrets. Lastly I think we could have seen some gunships and bombers coming in with droid vultures and AA emplacements attempting to keep them at bay if air superiority hadn't already been established by the GAR.

Alternatively on the clone side they could have attempted to deploy some frog walkers to zoom towards the enemy and attempt to weaken defenses if the droids didn't have the Star wars equivalent of machine gun nests set up to tear apart light vehicles

Another thing I forgot. If they were available at the battle the CIS would probably have deployed dwarf spider droids as anti-air and vehicle measures potentially with crab droids as well to hold those bunkers so the clones couldn't rush them as soon as they got to the hill top
