Dali Oberon 1 - Speakers that Rock!!

Amazed by these little speakers I wanted to share a video of how these sound and look. DALI manufactures some beautiful speakers and sound amazing with HiFi clarity. DALI Oberon 1 are small speaker with a large sound that can be changed by using the supplied grills.

I have been using Dali Spektor 2 in my office for 4 months and I am very pleased. I bought Dali Oberon 1 to use at home and I have been trying it for a week. All Dali speakers are in a better position than their counterparts in terms of stage width and detail. Spektor and Oberon series can be a very good choice for music lovers. While the Oberon 1 is excellent value for money, the Spektor 2 offers slightly more performance than its money's worth. Thank you for the review.

Well, Dali has multiple entry level speaker lines (Spektor, Zensor, Lektor etc), but the Oberon is slightly above them but below their higher grade lineup. The Oberon strike a great balance between affordability and great sound.

Hi. Thank you for the interesting review. I got this speakers and wish to get a subwoofer to improve the sound of bass. Which one would you recommend to me for a 15 square meters living room? Thank you.

Subwoofers can vary greatly. Some are more for music and others for home theater. Svs is a good option. I am currently using the jbl 550p. Not perfect but good. You can find amazing deals when it goes on sale at jbl.

arent them to sibilant? I wanted to like them but the sibilance is unbearable

I didn’t notice any sibilance with these speakers. Perhaps the source or room they were in for you ? The only time I’ve had sibilance issues has been with poorly mixed albums in both digital and vinyl or when using a low end phono cartridge. My room also has wall treatment so perhaps that prevented the issue you had. Good luck to you and thanks for the comment

@@ThriftShopReviews well my friend, my source is a class D nuprime ida 8 amplifier and mainly used vía USB from the PC tidal and flacs and my place Is not treated at all. Sorry for my basic english lol

@@rafaelalberto5051 Ahh yes, in my experience Class D amps can have some issues with treble and depending on the DAC this could be the issue. I haven't heard your specific amp to comment, I generally get better audio from a CD transport through a DAC or raspberry pi than with PC audio for some reason. When using a PC I use Audirvana also and it helps. What DAC are you using?

@@ThriftShopReviews the nuprime ida 8 is actually a dac with amplifier and I think its a sabre dac although I am not sure the specific model of the sabre dac that its used for nuprime
