As a cheerleader myself, I know the pain of their dance right there, I know it looks simple but dances ARE NEVER as simple as they look, our coaches like to throw in random small details fans won’t even notice

It's interesting bcuz so many commenters are saying it's easy, but that stride length is actually very wide if you ever watched the DCC show. And many got kicked off because they couldn't get the stride right without looking weird to get the power to push

It’s not as easy as it looks but it certainly isn’t painful! It takes skill, lots of hard work, practice and dedication but pain is not involved in the kind of “shows“ the DCC do. Pain is being a flyer who’s spotter/bass drops them on the asphalt ~ that’s pain. not trotting around and shaking poms. Before anyone loses their mind I agree what they do they do well and look good doing it! My only point is it isn’t painful

Omg when I was on V Squad in high school before senior year (2012) my one and only year EVER cheering I only danced (anyhoo) we had a cheer boot camp and our sponsor paid a ex DC cheer leader to run it with one other of her mates let me fkn tell you it was BRUTAL by the end though I was so proud the skills those girls taught me but at the same time we trained HARD and they did not take it easy we even had one of our girls quit during camp it was wild!

I believe they have a travel dance team and one that's more for cherring at games. I could be wrong. Their audition process is intense though. I once watched a couple vids of it here on youtube. They're all seriously talented and hardworking.
