The OT room is so deep, as well as the WR room, you could have taken LB Cooper, since the LB room is not deep and then an OT or RB in R3&R4. Would be cool if you would trade back twice, since this draft is so packed with good talent and the Cowboys have so many needs. Can't wait to see you with Voch!! Good Times!!

We need to trade back to the end of the 1st to like pick 28-30 and pick up and extra 3rd. Hope Barton, JPJ, Fuaga, Mims or Fautanu, Morgan or (Guyton last resort) fall to us Then trade back 4 or 5 spots in the 2nd and pick up a 4th. That gives you 1-1st, 1-2nd, 2-3rds and 1-4th. Created 2 extra picks by losing 10 potential players you could have had. More than worth it. Opens up your option of going OT and C rounds 1 and 2, if the right guys are there. Solidify 3/5 of your OL for the next Decade. Allows you to get your WR and RB with your 2-3rd rounders you now have since both positions stretch s9 deep in this draft and build our DL, LB and DB depth from the 4th round on.

Hey Jeff, I'm interested in your perspective on the left vs right tackle thing. I've seen alot of mocks that send Mims to Dallas but iirc he's never played left tackle and the rule with LT has always been "I have to have seen you do it". Given that, wouldn't drafting a RT like Mims there be a potential wasted pick?

I think it's almost a lock to take a center with thier 1st pick which is hopefully Barton if they stay at 24 or trade down and get Fraizer. Then play Bass at LG and kick Tyler Smith out to LT. Then take a LB in Round 2 and a RB in Rd 3.

If they end up with those players or close to those players 3 of 4 will start and have close to all pro seasons if not all pro. Suamatatia will start and hold his own. I think 2 could be perennial all pro's and Allen could also pick up multiple all pro seasons with the Cowboys. The running game will be better than its been in years and because the running game will be phenomenal Dak will have his best year by far and to me the measurement for Dak is efficiency and high TD to turnover ratio e.g. 35 TD's and 2 interceptions with very few if any fumbles, completion percentage, and how well he leads the offense which means a lot of long TD scoring drives. The defense will also be much better because of the increased number of long offensive drives, less time on the field, and increased 3 & outs. I think they would have drafted Lloyd or Davis instead of Allen at 87 but I love Allen and the type of game he brings to the table. Anyone of those 3 guys with the offensive lineman you picked up combined with what we already have could produce a league leading or close to it rushing game.
