Maxi’s defense on Durant late was beautiful. Steals, forced turnovers, lousy off balanced shots and generally just mucking up Durant’s fourth quarter COMPLETELY. Dallas up Only 81-75 late and Mavs go on a 9-0 run to close it out with Kleber leading the way on both ends. He and Klay have had an amazing turnaround. Two old guys (35 and 33 almost) getting it done in the clutch on the road down four starters (Luka, Lively, PJ and Naji). God we are a deep team.

@@danraul9759 it’s more about him not having the bad luck of having another big injury because if you turn back the clock a little kleber has always been a serviceable 2 way stretch PF when he’s healthy, when he has to do surgery like that shoulder one who messed up his shooting hand that’s when he’s at his worse because he’s not conditioned to defend and neither does he have the shooting touch he has a set shot meaning he doesn’t jump it’s all about the arm that’s why after that shoulder injury he didn’t shoot because he’s couldn’t snap his wrist the way he’s used to, he’s like a 6’10 version of porzingis without a post game: injury prone, slow to come back to form but when he’s at his best he changes opposing teams gameplans on offense and defense.

Mavs won bc Maxi Kleber carried us he was impressive he scored 15 points had 7 rebounds had lots of good steals with 0 fouls, and 0 turnovers I hope that kleber will keep this up bc his game this night was amazing 👏
