This was the last time that the Ewing family unit was intact before they find out later that afternoon that The head of the Ewing family, died in a helicopter crash. I miss my Friday nights with The Ewing clan. TV isn’t the same anymore.

@James Rhett Kennedy - please. Sue Ellen may not have been an angel - but she only cheated because JR cheated first. The bulk of the blame most DEFINITELY rests with him and I worry about any man that defends his actions!

There have always been two different ways of counting the seasons of DALLAS -- long story.
@TheEwing69
@TheEwing69 2 жыл бұрын
@@ghastlygrandpa oh yes, I’m well aware of that. Drives me nuts, lol. The DVDs came along, and Warner Brothers called the miniseries (which is what the cast STILL calls it), season 1, then called season 1 (1978-79) season 2 etc.
@ghastlygrandpa
@ghastlygrandpa 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheEwing69 ... No, the 1 thru 14 count did NOT start with Warners DVDs (in 2004). Check old issues of TVGuide and CBS press releases -- they used the 1 thru 14 count from the very beginning (based on how the industry counted seasons) even though the cast and the fans used the miniseries thru 13 count... It's just a matter of semantics and it can get confusing, but the two counting systems have been in place since 1978.
@TheEwing69

@@ghastlygrandpa Incorrect. Even the Tvguide had DALLAS on the cover, when they ended in 1991, said 13 seasons. The cast has to this day said 13 seasons. 😊
@ghastlygrandpa
@ghastlygrandpa 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheEwing69 .. The final TVGuide cover in 1991 said "13" but check the other endless copies from '78 to '91, where the listings for the first episode from each season follow the 1 thru 14. There have ALWAYS been two different counts from the very beginning. Just do the work.

@jksonny She was drunk all 3 of those times. Beyond that...Ray: "alright darlin', i'll buy you a puppy". Bobby: perhaps she was slightly upset over being committed to a sanitarium (and who did that? oh yeah...J.R....and NOT for her own good). And Clayton: 2 words...Holly Harwood. Funny how J.R. was involved in all 3 of those situations, huh? Of course he wasn't solely to blame for what happened, but the bulk of the blame definitely goes to him. It's called reaping what you sow.
