The "no goal" call was reviewed. It still stood up “only” because by then there was chaos on the ice. Dallas didn’t win fairly. But they won. I would feel sick if I was a Dallas fan. Knowing Dallas only won bc the refs were to scared to do anything

Mike McEvoy it was a crazy series, I get the feeling you are a Sabres fan or don’t like the Stars... Dallas where one of the best teams in the late 90’s / early 2000’s - good call or bad call they won, and they got all the way to the final and this is hockey, to win the cup it is not just about 1 game, you have to get through the season and playoffs, hardest trophy to win in any sport, so ‘only winning as refs were scared’... no I don’t feel sick, well deserved Modano & the team deserved to be there and win! But everyone is welcome to their opinion 👍

As a Stars fan(like players from many teams) here in Dallas,I've always thought it would've been better for the Stars to have won the Stanley Cup on an uncontroversial goal. The way it was won and Hull's bragging about it has cursed this team. They lost the Stanley Cup Final a year later,was upset by Anaheim and a goaltender who was playing amazingly in 2003,understandable loss to the Red Wings in the conf. finals in 2009,lost to the Avalanche in the first round,blown out by the Blues in game 7 at home 3 years ago and had the late season collapse last year. The No Goal Curse is alive and well.

So it's not that the blues were the better team last year and deserved to win. it was that there was a no goal called in the 99 finals? That's just stupid
