However, I do feel that in some cases this documents a confirming stereotype giving people who don't really know us and have to contact with us ammo to say "see, I told you they live like this..." The 313 in your name lets me know you're from the same place as me. In showing the worst, help to break that stereotype by balancing it out and showing the Rosedale Parks, Palmer Woods, University Districts, etc. just to let them know that there are beautiful areas that are majority us...just my idea, other than that keep doing what you're doing and be safe doing it...peace brotha.

Use to make gasoline deliveries (1977 - 1981) in South Dallas for Exxon. Most of the owners were on cash only deliveries (credit problems) and needed their deliveries late as possible because of the small storage capacities. Most of these deliveries were after 11:00 p.m. There were many times that I was the only white face within 5 square miles. I would walk from the owners desk (most dealers had a firearm sitting on top of the desk to deter a robbery) while they counted out between $8k to $10k in small bills. I would carry the cash out to the truck in at least (8) 11"x17" manilla envelopes. There were ALWAYS guys sitting on cars, drinking beer, smoking dope and just hanging out. Willie Berry was a dealer that I delivered to all the time, I believe his station was off of Haskell Blvd. NEVER was I accosted, but I was always tested verbally just to get a reaction. Then I was usually offered a beer, which I politely turned down. Just because they were poor and black didn't make them bad folks.

Dumb waste of time, chillin in parking lots and shit. Go get jobs where you work 50 hrs a week that will take care of all that extra chillin time they have. heh
