Dowdle isn't bad but he's not great either. Neither was pollard. It's been a while since I've seen what this team looks like with an actual elite rb1. I'd love to see Rico with a great run scheme minded gameplan, but i don't see him as a number 1 on at least 20 other teams. No hate to him tho. He's essentially a veteran rookie due to injuries and playing behind who he's been playing behind. Zeke was top tier when dallas picked Rico up. Pollard was the natural next man up. He deserves a real chance. I personally don't see him as anything incredible, BUT I'd love for him to prove me wrong

I haved loved Rico ever since the kickoff return for a TD on Thanksgiving day 2020. Very happy he got to do his thing eventually. Dude, he is a #2 back man. He reminds me lots of a very good back we had 1980-85 James Jones. Younger fans go watch the 1980 and especially 81 season vs eagles Texas Stadium and especially @Colts 81 playoffs @Texas Stadium vs Tampa.38-0.. James like Rico and Dmo...he had the injuries Rico has has and then had the 3 tear DMO has and 81 technology was not like today,..he was out from 82-84. Jamens was a perfect back up to Dorsett. Man THAT was when you truly ran the ball. DORSETT, James Jones, Ron Springs, Robert Newhouse, Timmy Newsome...ALL ON ONE TEAM!!!! THAT WAS AS WHEN WE RAN THE DAMN BALL,.. ALL THOSE BACKS WITH A SHORTER ROSTER. WE CAN DO IT TO...BUT NOPE SINCE WE PAY DAK ALL THAT EE HAVE TO BE A PASS FIRST TEAM....IF WE JUST PLAYED POWER RUN ...BUILD DEFENSE AND PLAY ACTION PASS...ALWAYS RUNNING CLOCK , TURN DAK INTO MORE. Respectfully i totally disagree .Trey Lance was drafted because of his abilities. He is what 6ft.4in and can run a 4.4 and has an arm. The problem he has had hardly any reps in college or the nfl. He needs a coach that can coach him up as he needs a ton of development. He has so much more talent than Cooper Rush, I think Dallas would be wise to sign him to a contract znd go get a coach that can develop him

He personally went out and hired Patrick mahomes qb trainer during last off season and then went and threw 7 interceptions in the preseason. He's not good. At all

Really? Where did you get that information? Bobby Stroupe has been Patrick Mahomes personal trainer since he was 9 years old and still is as far as i kmow. Besides if you have a prospect with great size, speed, and arm talent and you can get him for a relatively cheap deal it's worth the chance to try and develop him because someone with all those qualities doesn't come along often. Like I said he just hasn't had enough reps to make a true assessment.

Our back up QB for next year should be WILL GRIER ...he can do more than Rush with his legs, has a strong arm and cheaper. Also, STOP.....STOP ripping on Mingo. Rush has not thrown him a decent ball yet...he was open for a TD. Rush over threw him.

I will say in defense of Jerry those 3 12-5 seasons Jerry put the talent on the field and cowboys went one and done it proves you can have all the talent in the world but you have to have a great coach not a good coach but a great coach! You are wasting talent and years that is why the Cowboys are in the position now when you had the talent you blundered those seasons because McCarthy team is still one of the most penalized teams undisciplined teams in the league all five years of he’s been here. It was the same way with Garrett so nothing‘s changed. They wish to 10 years with Garrett. It’s time to move on. you’re not here just to win 12 or five season be one and done you’re here to win championships that’s why respect Michael Irving so much because Michael Irvin doesn’t play he don’t play no games on Mike says hey man it’s just time to move on that is a champion that is man who won national championship and Super Bowls and no championship football. He knows it in the coaches he knows
