The Beatles "Yellow Submarine Songtrack" Re Upload

Well done. Was listening to this on CD last night after having not listened to it for 20 years. The mixes blew me away. Might be my fave Beatles album to listen to now. Packed with favorites that sound so absolutely full, warm and crisp. The fellow who mixed it did a fabulous job.

Thanks for your work Stripey! Yes! Absolutely Giles should remix the entire catalogue! Anyone who wants to listen to original mixes still can. But for me, especially the earlier album stereo mixes were just too separated. They are not enjoyable in stereo, so Giles can fix that and make it so much better in my humble opinion.

Fantastic ramble Stripes. There something about your lighting that just makes every record look amazing. From all the remastered I've heard I think Giles definitely had the Midas touch. I put my Kum Back LP on today which is the let it be naked or bootleg version as it's known. You kind of get the same quality with that. It's a bit like they're in the room singing it to me. Now wouldn't that be something eh? Well done Stripes. The hard work is always appreciated.

Hi Stripey. Great that you made an edit of the banned video. I am glad that KZbin cannot get you down. The sound quality of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack is awesome. We are used to the 1969 LP Yellow Submarine with the filmscore of George Martin on the B-side. But this is a much better LP than the original LP. This is an album, that I play quite often. It has a reall happy feeling. Keep making these videos. Thanks mate.

KZbin does get to me a little Pe Ke, the first year of doing videos I had no hassle and then IT came Strike/Blocked/Removed/Demonetised etc. Agreed on the Songtrack mate, the sound quality is outstanding. cheers pal

One thing I'll say about the remixes is that they breathe fresh air into these classics. Some would argue that fresh air isn't needed, but like you say, we still have the originals. I say have at it. Remix the whole catalogue and satisfy my curiosity.

Hi Mate :) Ok ok so I think you are whiting for me and my opinion lol . Well … You know I did buy this back in 99 the vinyl and the CD as well . And to this day I do think that this vinyl is just > FANTASTIC < . I really like the hole mix of it and taking the side B out … Well at first I was not happy I played it and put it back on my shelf … Then a day of two went by and I started to think you know it dose have that kind of smoother flow to it . Even now I do think it is just brilliant of a mix . I do like it a lot and I think it will get in to your head lol . I know you will be playing it a lot more then you think lol . The "Cut-Edited-Re-Uploaded " is great ! :) I'm glad you're finding an alternative after so much time spent. Since 1999, I love this soundtrack and all the remix without exception : BRILLANT ! It's only my opinion but the remix team (Paul Hicks also worked for the 2009 mono/stereo box remasters) was much better than _Giles Martin "alone"._ If we only talk about the songs from Sgt. Pepper these 1999 remixes are fabulous!!! _Yes, you understood it I don't like the 2017 Pepper mix by G. Martin._ I also have the vinyl record and I am lucky to have the original 1999 yellow submarine vinyl record version (gift from my brother)... wow already almost twenty years ago... *Great video as always Stripey, thank you.* Have a great evening_day. Great vid 👍 The songtrack makes the original Yellow Submarine album defunct ...and it sounds fantastic. I’ve never played the original Yellow Submarine album since the songtrack was released. The same with Let It Be Naked, I much prefer it to the original Let It Be album.

No absolutely disagree. They should not tamper with the original tracks ,that's how they were laid down and meant to sound.I have only early pressings of all there studio albums and they sound apsolutly fine to me . The remixing is just another cash cow for Giles Martin.
