DAMAGED DAILY BUGLE?! LEGO Store Release Day Vlog

Our LEGO Daily Bugle box was damaged (but that's okay). LEGO Store release day was a success! We were able to get our new LEGO Daily Bugle and can't wait to build it!
This might be the best LEGO set in 2021! The minifigures in the Daily Bugle are incredible (though many are repeats...) and the build itself is massive! I'm excited to add this to my LEGO City once it is built, but until then I'm excited to actually get to build this thing!
It's great to finally have a bunch of the LEGO Spiderman characters as minifigures, and Daredevil made this set way more worth it! The box of the Daily Bugle was damaged, but we got VIP points so its all good! This was such a fun LEGO Store release day!

I'd definitely take the the VIP points for a damaged box. I mean I love the art work on the older sets especially Ideas but since they swapped to the all black box art, they don't really appeal to me anymore except for the for the Batmobile and Batwing sets because of the gloss photo on the matte background has an interesting texture. 🐾

I was at my local Lego store at 8am this morning, two hours before they opened, and was still 2nd in line lol. Ended up only being about 8 people that showed up early, which is CRAZY because there’s usually WAY more than that, but I got mine! Also got a bonsai tree finally, and a few other things, overall great haul!

That’s crazy about the box. They had maybe 20 of them on a table at my Lego store and the first one I grabbed had a damaged box so I swapped it with another one that was fine. Hopefully whoever ended up with it mentioned it and got a discount as well! I save all my boxes for bigger sets so I’d rather get a good box at full price, but at least you saved a little money!

i saw that the bugle is not selling out as some expected. maybe april and may were a bit pricey. i bought the gardens, shuttle and r2d2 close to release each time, and that´s stressing the wallet;) but the minifigs here are worth the price alone

I went to my local LEGO store only 15 minutes in advance... I was 8th in the line of 15 people and they only had 7 in stock 🥲🥲🥲 I had to order online since I don't want to drive 1h30 again in two days

Ah man! Sorry to hear that! We normally call the day before a set drops to make sure there's going to be plenty so we can plan accordingly but to be honest, only having 7 sets is a little silly. Sorry about your luck but glad you're getting it soon!
