u asked for something u could make next? how about a full 4 x place setting. meaing 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 tumblers/mugs 4 spoons, 4 forks, 4 napkin rings (dunno if u can do a functioning knife blade out of epoxy?) and then a picnic basket/case to store it all in. i'm sure it'd be costly but would be the ultimate wedding gift for a lover of skateboarding

Make something with the grip tape! Antique-style Pencil sharpeners or even sand paper blanks lol. You recycle everything else, why not? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have you thought of any use for the grip tape you pull off of the boards? I see you cutting them off the tool you use to pull them off and stacking them on top of each other.

You mentioned more than once that it's supposed to be a piece of decoration..... But maaan, it hurts to see that perpendicular wood grain orientation. Anyways, those are some pretty hatchets. Good job, mate!

The laminate is so much stronger than the the wood itself that the grain orientation would have a negligable impact on its strength.

"Let me know in the comments..." Ok, firstly, that's not an axe. That's a hatchet. Secondly, if you want less deflection from your bandsaw blade, lower the guide down. When you've got the guide up 8 inches and you're cutting a handle for a HATCHET, you could have the blade deflecting all over the place. Still, i like your work
