It’s crazy, you look like you’re just beating up the metal in a rough half hazard manner while other smiths on KZbin seem to have a more delicate style of crafting, yet your creations are by far the most elaborate and beautiful in an authentic way. Maybe it’s because you focus on Damascus style blades which means you are really digging into a a subject of your art and exploring its possibilities rather than trying a bunch or random blade designs and handle combinations. Edgar der Schmied one way would be to weld it solid in the knife-configuration. It would lose some of the «awesome»-factor, but atleast you would not be fined.

@James Weylin I think so, too. But here nobody cares what we think- The "BKA" says what is a weapon and what not. A carambit is illegal to own when you're not 18 because it counts as a weapon. But as james jensen said: Who cares? :D

I think your statement is not entirely correct. you can carry knife within a flashlight, you just cant carry it everywhere (for example festivals or other places where many people are for example footbal stadiums ora christmas market). But the blade itself is legal as long as its not longer than 12 cm or can be drawn and locked with just one hand. and a carambit for people younger than 18 is not allowed simply because its purpose is neither as a tool (noone really uses it in a garden anymore) nor as a kitchen knife.

Its not the smithing part that is the issue. Its handling the batteries like that. The stuff inside common AA batteries is known to cause health issues when busted open and handled like that.

Супер, просто офигенно. Надо было оставить функциональность фонарика, круглую литиевую батарейку, типа 2032 или большей ёмкости и светодиоды, знимало бы мало места и светило, или маленькую литий ионную, тпа как в маленьких квадрокоптерах или видеорегистраторах. А что за металл был в аккумуляторах, никель?

yodu45 I believe that was just a clever way to use the mild steel from the batteries along with the high carbon steel from the break away razors. Together they make a beautiful knife, as you can see!

It's just a joke, which can be made from batteries, nor any semantic load. In addition, there (in the cells), iron coated with nickel - which will give a good contrast.
