Okay I got an idea Hear me out Alec and Will both make swords on their own NO TIME LIMIT Then they put the swords against each other in a few different tests 1.Looks 2.Sharpness 3.Strength (whack swords against each other (probably the last test)) 4.versatility 5.puncture(also sharpness) The ULTIMATE Steele vs Stelter Like so Alec can see this and maybe it will happen

Hell no. If each part is gonna be 20+ min than 10 parts is almost too much, if they're only 10 min than maybe but I'd much rather have fewer longer episodes than lots of short ones.
@bitfreakazoid
@bitfreakazoid 5 жыл бұрын
If each video was 20+, then 10 parts is not to much. I would love more video footage of them just working on it with just the sounds of the shop instead of a bunch of quick, and slow-mo, shots with music playing over; not that those aren't also good though.

Moving along at a blistering pace now! Even if it sounds like each episode is roughly 2 days, it's remarkable how quickly you guys are making progress on such a finely detailed piece that would have taken you months before. You're shaping up to be a high-end production shop! The question now is if the increased productivity is worth the cost of making sure 4 highly trained artisans get paid fairly. If that's the case, then it's time to start hiring!

Alex, I'm 44, a fledgling woodworking hobbyist, love everything you do. Not sure this will be seen, but I pose a challenge to you. In recent American history, there is likely nothing more iconic than the saber of the United States Marine. I'd love to see one done for charity and auctioned off for Toys for Tots. And this is coming from a soldier. Regardless if you see this, good luck young man. We're proud to have you here.

Fantastic video as always. A tip for you guys when you use a file in the lathe, hold it in your left hand and stand on the right hand side, if the file digg in or skate you will not hit your self with it. This was something that was beaten in at the machinist school whent to.

Pretty sure youtube is bogged down because of the ridiculous number of people trying to watch at once. I hate it, but I've found waiting a few hours is worth it because it buffers so much

I'm rather pleased at the longer videos. And this stiletto is going to be really beautiful. I'm glad you are moving right along with the new shop and it is beginning to become a really productive one. Cheers and success!! Thanks for the wonderful video

Alex instead of saying “on the money” when something is 100% accurate in machining. The right term as I know is “dead nuts on” .

what I recommend you to do higher rpm when working on part with such small diameter if you want to part something like this, use thinner parting blade, feed it slowly, they break rather easily
