Like Dan wrote, it's most likely the licensing. Licenses usually cost so much that the toy makers have to cut back, see disney and hasbro for a good example

Wish he would of spent a little more time on the outfit ... like what does it look like with the jacket off and the tie removed 🤔 is it a long or short sleeved undershirt .. also more mix and matching with other gomez figures would be a good segment .. like street with that watch and glasses etc .. but I'll just have to wait
