I was a public defender in Caddo Parish in Shreveport. 80% of my clients were black, 60% were young Black men. I ran for US Senate on a platform of changing juvenile incarceration. This is very near and dear to my heart and look forward to talking with you and your team about it.

Idk why juvie don’t have trade programs . If these kids left their knowing how to do something . Shit would change for them . And the community … idk seem like the most logical solution . Education , a trade mental health help . And shit really would change

We need it i was locked up at 13 first and only case got juvenile life i.was not a predator before i went in after i was super aggressive anti social the COs would make us fight and bet on it if you refused they would pay inmates to attack you are juvenile system in il is bogus
