It´s true Joan was called "das Denver Biest" in Germany because "Dynasty" was re-named "Der Denver Clan" in Germany. It was Dallas vs Denver all throught the 80´s.

Why? I think she answered the question perfectly. I mean, Few if any of us remain friends with people we worked with 40 years ago. The two are amicably civil, for they did a play together about 15 years ago.

@@thebigl156 All the interviews I've ever seen them do, they've never spoke badly about each other. Joan said in one interview that she knew Linda way before Dynasty and had been to her home. They aren't best friends but they do respect and admire each other.

Hollywood Royalty though? Joan is still a beautiful sharp lady but what she's principally known for is a television show (great show by the way) called Dynasty. While she’s appeared in many a memorable film her filmography though is not up to snuff in any way shape or form to that of Elizabeth Taylor's. Taylor would definitely be considered Hollywood Royalty.
