I find it strange that the most obvious people reveal themselves as being gay. Collin Jackson, Kelly Holmes every track and field fan knew but never cared.

@Ballykeith I could name names, but that would give an impression that I think there's something wrong that an athlete is gay. All that I will say is that track and field will attract talented gay athletes who do not want to deal with the toxic masculinity that is more prevalent in sports like American Football, European Football, Basketball and ice hockey. Although some athletes will remain closeted because they are worried that any revelation will negatively affect their sponsorship/endorsement deals.

She didn't.. but if she did maybe it was to apologise for the bump back on the corner when Kelly was forced to go a mile wide . Kelly won. Thats all that matters. She deserves it even if everyone sat on the Starr line, had a picnic to let her win.. she deserved it. She earned it 1000 times over in the years she put in.

shameful the way that human beings were treated for being themselves. DKH is an absolute star. She served in our armed forces, and won countless medals for herself and GB. So right that she is so honoured and revered for being such a brilliant human being.
