The speed in which these two play is ridiculous. Probably averaging 10 seconds shot time.

Jan was RUNNING for these breaks. What a great ref to know that the most important thing was to not interrupt the flow instead of getting into the perfect position every time. Ronnie could never replicate his fastest clearance with today's referees. They are robots instead of following the flow of the game.

6:19 - Drago's shot time is less than 1 SECOND. The little rollback as it came to a stop had hardly finished when he took the shot.

@@henryj8363 Quicker back swing, hardly any pause, most times on autopilot... flow. I noticed a change in his back swing in the 03 season, & a few yrs later the feathering style also changed. Ronnie had the most unique style of feathering pre 03. He'd feather further out from the cue ball & then feather in closer as he's about to take the shot. For me, pre 03 was the best Ronnie

On certain shots he tends to have this casual almost flicking cue action where he moves his bridge hand a fraction after playing the shot, but on an odd occasion he gets the timing slightly wrong and it throws the cue ball slightly offline. He can get away with the margin of error on a pool table with the bigger pockets but not so much with a snooker table's tighter ones.
