I think that Damien Rice is still so underrated here in the states. However he is my favorite artist of all time! What talent. The thing I love about Damien Rice is that he only puts out his best songs. He even said it himself in an interview. He is very picky about what he puts out there. Only the very best make it into final recording. I love it!

Who is singing at the beginning. Whoever this woman is, she's wonderful with a bright tone of sunlight. An expression of hope in a lost world. One last look at the distant land. One last heartbeat from a dyeing soldier. One last look at a lost love. I like this performance alot!!! This clearly shows what can happen when a group of talented people get together. That is Lisa Hannigan. She is an amazing artist in her own right. Plenty of videos of her here to check out. For me when she and Damien were together it brought out the absolute best in both of them as artists. The energy and passion they both brought together was simply magic.
