Some explanation here: Muzan was suspicious about a trap and wondered why there were no guards. At that moment, he saw his girls playing with a ball, which distracted him from thinking more deeply about the guards. This was why he never expected the move and couldn’t escape in time. His wife and daughters knew about the plan and understood they had to be sacrificed with him for the future of humanity. They couldn’t let him die alone anyway. The domain power isn’t Muzan’s; it’s Biwa lady’s domain. This is why Muzan kept her close. You can tell because every time someone teleports to the domain, you hear the Biwa sound. She was collecting every demon slayer’s location in previous episodes. In this season’s episode 1, we saw Muzan collecting all demons in her domain. He planned to kill all the demon slayers there with all the demons.

Hence why any scene of the infinity castle's doors opening or closing is aleays accompanied by the sound of her biwa. All those eyeballs marked "Upper Moon 4." That was her splitting her awareness to tag every single demon slayer so she could teleport them here, where she has full control of the environment. And I don't care what anyone says, that makes her the most powerful demon as far as Im concerned. That is fucking WILD!

Quick explanation (theory since I'm not a manga reader) on why it was specific demon slayers and not the whole area like you said. So the "domain" isn't Muzan's but it's the cyclops girl's blood demon art. Hence her always controlling it and playing her instrument. She used her million eyes to spy on each demon slayer one by one and on Muzan's signal or command, she would abduct all of them at once (since Muzan said he knew there was going to be a trap) so that Muzan can finally wipe out the entire demon slayer corps all at once.

I think the confusion might be that I don't think the domain is Muzan's. The Fourth, the girl with the instrument, is the one who seems to control this space. I'm not sure exactly how she controls it except by strumming, but I think it has to do with her eyes. I imagine that they're probably the origin point for her doors, which is why she had thousands of them following around all of the demon slayers. She said something like 60% last episode, so she probably has the vast majority of them tailed by now, and she just opened all of them up at the same time.

As a manga reader, I've been waiting to see this for FOUR YEARS. FOUR VERY LONG YEARS. I loved this episode. They nailed it so much that I was just screaming and hyped up to see how beautiful and intense everything was animated. The next three movies are going to be absolutely incredible. I can't wait.

the beginning of the season where sanemi and obanai in the infinity castle was just a tease for the audience, that does not happen in the manga hence, originally none of them knew about the “domain” and them being teleport to the castle was nakime (upper4) doing, you know how there was eyes ball everywhere located them throughout the season?

The reason Muzan took everyone down with him was because it's been a while since he has considered the demon slayer corps to be a thorn in his flesh. So he decided that he'd take care of it then and now. With Nakime's (UM4) power, he knows the location of all the demon slayers.

The last part is totally like a move quality . Seeing how zenitsu went down. It’s so cool. Master’s plan seriously a master plan. 1.explosion 2. Demon art 3.Drug 4. Take his head etc.... the plan is epic. Also I think I am worrying for the weak one too.

27:10 To answer your question (no spoilers ofc), this scene was just a few panels first showing everyone surrounding Muzan, all of them starting their one attack, then the smile, then a couple panels of the doors opening up. Funny enough, the manga actually shows flames coming out of the doors, and Muzan says "You're all going straight to hell" before they fully pass through the doors. That's basically it, you only see a couple people land in random locations, none of the generic slayers/Inosuke/Zenitsu are directly shown falling into the castle. There are a couple other details but I would have to move into spoilers to continue talking about it.

if you remember he had that demon girl who does the infinite tsukuyomi find every single demon slayer in his search for nezuko. I think he specifically waited so he could get rid of the entire core at once.

I know its easy to think Rengoku would've reached the battle already, and while we did get a great show of his speed during the Mugen Train prelude, but unfortunately he wouldn't have. Idk specifically which one but of the current Hashira roster, some of them are definitely faster. And like Tengen, all the Hashira were a considerable distance from the Ubuyashiki residence and from each other. When Tokito ran out to train with Sanemi and Obanai, Sanemi points out that he keeps 'running all the way out here every night'.

I love that Muzan didn’t even get to kill them in the end Ya you weren’t the only one that thought the explosion was Muzan’s. Maybe there just wasn’t enough time to show Muzan confused or surprised before he explained to us, and ya we never really seen his abilities

One of the kids came back for the ball i asumed the other one was the one set off the explosion. The other one probably came back in case muzan killed them offf early and needed to distract him again.
