Timestamps are included :) Hey guys, so in the intro, I talk about the premise of Dionysus as well as why I didn't do any live performance reaction to this song, it's something I may do in the future but it's most likely not gonna be a KZbin reaction for fear of copyright, I already had a strike for a mnet video and had some other troubles with live performances that I had to delete from the channel :(

The Song is Jhopes Baby, he was one of the main Producers, and main Song-Writers in the Press Conferees Yoongi revealed that Hobi changed the Melody like 20 Times, till he was happy. Namjoon said in his Album Live, that he had some writer's block and every time they have a slump, Hobi comes up with something. Same happened in Mic Drop.

Theres a beautiful wordplay in the lyrics - sul is alcohol in Korean, and yesul means art, so it all ties beautifully with Dyonisus being a deity of both wine and inspiration - art in a glass, being drunk in art etc. :)

This is one of my fave songs! I love Jin’s falsetto, it’s amazing but we do not hear nearly enough of his low register and I think that’s a crime. Deadass I would pay serious money that I don’t have to hear Jin growling on a metal track. I’d sell my fkn kidney because oh my lord he would kill it. Let’s manifest it for when Jin comes back 😅😂

I think it is Tae. As in him having an easier time than the other on lower notes not disreagarding his talent obviously. It is hard for all of us to go deep unless you have a really deep voice, but you would still struggle so yeah. Nothing is accomplished without some type of training. :D

amoung they're very large discography Dionysus is one of my top 10 bts songs and they're live performance are insane . i'am alway's happy when i heard this song .

Jin is a tenor who can sing crazy high notes skillfully, and he is also a baritone with a powerful resonant voice.💜 I personally enjoy him singing in his mid to lower range. His deep voice is not just simply deep, but has a full, rich and warm resonant tone to it.💜

I wanted to mention that two of the members, Namjoon and Yoongi, were both in the underground rap scene before they debuted and a lot of their rapper "friends" and acquaintances basically told them that they weren't real artists anymore cuz they became idols (they were seen as sellouts since idol groups aren't regarded highly in the underground scene). So them saying that it doesn't matter whether they are referred to as artists or idols shows how they've grown beyond those insecurities and hateful words. If you look at the lyrics of some of their earlier songs (like born singer) you can see how much this used to affect them but now they've come to the point of not caring what other people say because they know themselves and are confident in themselves.

I am so grateful to have been able to witness this song live. It was the opening for the speak yourself tour in 2019 and let me tell you.. it was the most epic thing I had ever experienced. It was so strong and impactful, the cheers were insane, the atmosphere was incredible.

It is performed by the two Chinese members of seventeen Jun and THE8. This song has two versions korean and Chinese, the two versions describe the past and the present or future(?)
